Break through tough levels.......2007-05-19
This was a huge help to me to get through some tough levels that I was really stuck on. It is not so much a "cheat" as a walkthrough of what is going to happen. I only gave the book four stars because I thought it could have gone over actual in game controls more thoroughly.
This book is great!.......2000-12-01
It includes instructions on how to beat the individual missions, tips for playing the AI, differences between Nod and GDI. A great book for a great game! A definite buy!
I think it was a great book........1999-11-04
This book helped me beat Command and Conquer Tiberian Sun. It helped because I was stuck on the last GDI mission and the sixth Nod mission. The book helped me beat these missions so that I can go on.

Awesome game!!!.......2004-11-23
This game is a great game, if you like the cold war!!!<br />
It has a lot of varieties!!
This book is useless and worthless!.......2003-04-25
I picked this book up when I purchased RA2, and 3 hours after buying it, I returned it. This book is useless for anyone that can play and be successful at a video game. And for those of you who can't, it's called a trainer and it lets you make the game much easier and go by quicker. This is a book is a bomb.
Useful.......2001-10-30
This book was useful to me and, possibly, you in many many ways. First off, walkthroughs for all solo missions and stragy for multiplayer. Second, unit and building reviews. Third, FAQ's and many other secret and helpful pieces of info. Get this book.... It's worth it.
This book is cool!.......2001-06-09
Hey guys, howz everyone doing? Well I brought this book a week or so ago becuase I'm in love with the game, and it really is a good book. Although I've done all the missions several times without the help of the book, it certainly gave me some good tips. If your a RA2 nut like me you won't need the stratigies but they're still fun to read! Colour photos would of been nice but u can't have everythiung I suppose! An excellent book, like all of Prima's game guides.......2001-04-01
I think I am the only adult who has written a review for this book in the Amazon.com website. I don't think kids would need to read this book because they seem to find out everything about the game just by playing it for hours on end! Well, I enjoy real time strategy games too, but can't afford to spend the same amount of time as my younger colleagues on them. This is where Prima's guide comes in. It provides a quick overview of all the elements of the game, walkthroughs for all the missions, and some general strategy tips, exactly what is needed in a 3rd party manual. It is well-indexed too so I can find what I need quickly. The manual is fairly small, but this is because the game is not so deep as some others, like Age of Kings for example.

This can be a great book.............2001-08-12
This can be a great book if you use the tips and stratageys correctly! That means"Do not follow the tips blindly! Modify them so your playing style will work well with the tips! Not the other way around!". Also if you hate being talked through a misson, avoid this book! Also somtimes your own strategys are better than the ones in this book! I Made it to the last NOD misson with only cosulting the book in 1 or 2 missons. So be carful if you buy this and use it right!
An awesome guide.......2000-05-03
I got stuck in one of the Nod mission and it was until I got this awesome guide did I manage to pass through it.I rated it 5 stars because it has extremely detailed walkthrough for all of the missions. This guide is a must for all those C&C fans out there!
A Great Strategy Guide.......2000-04-12
This is a great guide. It has a compleat walkthrough of Tiberian Sun and Firestorm. The missons stategies help alot, plus they are perfect when you get stuck. The stategies for multiplayer are excellent. It got a 4 star rating because the walkthrough of the Tiberian Sun Missons are identical to the first guide.

make u have sonething to read in W.C........2003-10-11
this book only help us through the single player mission.
if u can't think a way to beat those mission, u buy this.
but doesn't help much in the multiplayer games...............
i would say try to make yourself lose, i say again, make
yourself lose 20 to 30 games in the multiplayer games , u can write a better one.
Not very informative.......2003-06-19
Prima used to put out excellent strategy guides, but this was very sub-par. I would have liked to have seen the use of numbers in damage and armor of the units, but instead you get the same description as is in the manual. This book doesn't go into a whole lot of detail, but then again, the campaigns are not overly difficult so there's not a whole lot to say...
The Game itself is AWESOME...but I'd suggest playing it first to determine if you really need this guide...
Cheat Bbook.......2003-03-30
C&C generals does not need a strategy guide. This book is pretty much an easy way to beat the game, although there are some interesting strategies.

EXTREMELY fun, and pretty challenging. enemy ai isnt enviously great, but it is pretty good. the last, oh, 3 or 4 levels get really HARD so i would recommend this guide. it took me a while to finally get past the last few levels, and i was wishing the whole time for a prima's guide. didnt have one; i really recommend it if u plan on trying to beat this game in a record time or even if you do it in your spare time.

Good but could be better.......2004-04-28
Typical of Prima's guides this book contains all the "how to" suggestions of completing the game. Part I of the book focusses on the original "Generals" which gives good hints including an overall map of each mission. This section would be a 5 out of 5.
Part II is where it seems to fall apart. Part II has a nice guide on new abilities but as far as a guide for each of the fifteen missions, it divides the mission with a step by step of how to go through the mission with little windows into what you can expect to see along the way. The one large omission is that it doesn't have an overall map for each mission or any mission in "Zero Hour" which I've found is probably the biggest help in these guide books. With the overall map, the reader/player can get an overall perspective of where the dangers lie and how best to avoid them. This is especially helpful if you want to attempt to complete the mission by a different method. Why this was included for the Part I "Generals" missions but not the Part II "Zero Hour" missions is a mystery.
For a book on the original "Generals" this is a 5 out of 5. For a guide on "Zero Hour" it would probably be more of a 3 out of 5. Frankly I'm disappointed with this supposed "Zero Hour" guide for the reason above.
Very good.......2004-03-22
This guide does exactly what a strategy guide should do: It tells you how to play the game. Of course, the game is somewhat open ended within each mission. I often found myself going different routes than the guide suggests, but even then, the suggestions made by the book are valuable.
Note that this covers both the base game and the expansion, which makes it a good value. Unless you already had the book for the base game... ;-)

In a wise and witty manner, brothers David and Tom Gardner, founders of the multimedia investment company The Motley Fool, impart their investment strategies to the adolescent masses with The Motley Fool Investment Guide for Teens. In eight teen-friendly sections, the brothers Gardner and writing partner Selena Maranjian demystify the stock market by describing and defining mutual funds, banking practices, IRAs, and drip investing. The authors also include numerous quotes from money-savvy adolescents who detail some of their rookie market moves in an attempt to help their peers steer clear of similar mistakes. Parents will approve of the strongly worded sections on credit card debt and the costly financial and physical tolls a smoking habit takes on both wallet and health. In fact, parents would do well to pick up this investment primer for their own edification, if they find the stock market a confusing and chaotic business. Loaded with worksheets, helpful Web sites on a variety of financial subjects, a concise glossary, and a comprehensive index, this is one investment guide that both generations can and will turn to again and again.
Traditionally, teens have been known for having a hard time seeing the proverbial Big Picture. But the Gardners respond admirably to this characteristic, by constantly emphasizing the fortune teens can make in the future by investing now and reminding them that investing money is the least labor-intensive way to make more of the desirable green stuff. A perfect gift for the burgeoning Warren Buffet in your life. (Ages 12 and older) --Jennifer Hubert

Good Book For All Ages.......2007-02-14
This book has reinforced what I have been preaching to my 17 year old for years......1) save and invest your money early, 2)live within your means as you get started in life (used vs new car), 3) attend the local university (keep student loans to minimum) and 4) practice a healthy lifestyle and you will soon learn that by the time you are 30 you will have more financial freedom and less debt than 90% of Americans.
I wish I had been taught the discipline for the first two items as it wasn't until age 40 that I reached financial freedom. Fortunately for him, he is a believer after reading this book. Maybe along the way he will guide others in the right direction.
The Best Way to Enjoy Finance & Economics.......2006-02-27
This books gives the true value of savings: a life worth dreamings about and investments we make for it to see it happen. This is a sweet and funny little book that makes money look exciting as a tool and token. I see this book as the clues to playing a cool video game. (More, like the hint book.) It's so casual that you think your reading Reader's Digest. You never feel confused! Math teacher's, parents, middle schoolers, high school students, college students, retirees: you'll love this book.
Yes, a good money book for teens, but the voice is annoying........2005-05-03
This book will basically focus on the way the stock market works and how to invest in it. It also tells you how much you can save in the future. It is the meat of the book when it comes to the stock market, but the book will also teach you the cost of bad habits such as smoking and the upsides of credit cards if used right. The book teaches you how to get your money's worth in the bank, teaching you everything from how they make money to what a cd is. The worst thing about this book that annoyed me so much, I took off a point, was that they try to write the book in a type of slang format. Going from saying the word dawg and writing rock lyrics about the book. This is very annoying, but the tips this book gives are just too valuble to detour you alway.
I recommend it to anyone of any age.
Great intro financial / investing book for **everyone**.......2005-02-08
I only skimmed this book (after all, I own almost all the other TMF books!), but I think this book is by far one of the best financial books for **any** new investor, regardless of age. While other books may have more content, this is one of the most approachable financial and investing books I've read. (Plus, its worksheets **force** you practice what you read!) Readable by adults, too!
This book is the beginning of your future.......2005-01-24
I am in college. I guess I got this information kind of late. I actually started my first job way later than other kids.
I think this book inspired me to save and invest in my future. I did not know a freaking thing about investing till this came along. The thing I found most suprising was that you don't need any knowlege of the stock market to come out ahead. They make it so simple...and its life changing. I recommend this book if you want to be able to survive comfortabley when your retired.
