This is a required text for my students during their externship and for good reason. This is the perfect tool for them to have in their pocket to make notes (the write-on wipe-off surface is wonderful) or to find a quick answer. It is also great for me as an instructor to use in the classroom for quick quizzes or projects!

This book is totally awesome. I give it an A++. I am a Medical Assistant student graduating in 2005. This book is an awesome reference book for someone who is in this program or some one already in this field. It is a great reference guide that everyone should have. It is also a good refernce guide for studing with and along with the CMA or RMA exam preperation book.

The Pocket Guide to Medical Assisting is a "must have" for the student and new medical office assitants. I was first introduced to this book on the advisory board at our local community college. As a medical assistant and a clinical manager I find this an excellent reference tool for new employees. The book's layout and design give concise guidelines for both administrative and clinical skills. The spiral binding lends itself to "pocket" use and access. The student will find this a great learning tool. I only wish it would have been available when I was a student. I highly recommend it to students, educators, and employers as a quick reference guide.
