My 22 year old son is enjoying this book. He has gotten several creative ideas for business cards. We do not appreciate the nudity on a couple of the cards though. (Very distasteful on a business card.)

Call me weird but I like perusing good design to get ideas for my projects. I got this book sight unseen and have flipped through it every couple of days since receiving it. I use it to fuel color choices and layout for everything from websites to brochures and menus and of course business cards. I would highly recommend this book to anyone needing a breath of inspiration in their design world.

I don't know exactly what is people looking for when they purchase books like this one. These books are intended as inspirational fountains. They are not intended to solve your graphic problems. They give you some ideas so you can start scratching but not to give you the solutions for every client that you have. This book is great. I used it everyday as all the others books that i have. Everytime i got something to do i start my reasearch in all the books that i have and this is the first one, so i could stop looking for ideas faster. If what i need is not here i keep watching the other ones. You won't be disapointed.

I expected a lot more from this book given it is not just The Best of...but the The Best of The Best of...In any case, very little of the work shown here is good but overall, it is a very weak group of business cards. If you're a seasoned designer, I am sure you have a stack of collected cards that is of higher caliber than the ones shown in this book. Better spend your quasi $30 on another book.

We've seen them all - or have we? If we hardly remember their business card, will they remember ours? When I bought this book I was looking for assurances that I would stand out in people's memory but still retain an appropriate image. I wanted a card that was a presentation that I could be proud of, something that would add self-confidence, yet stand above the rest. This book was absolutely outstanding in its offerings. Not only did they have the tried and true, but they had the unusual; they had the conservative and the innovative. With 600 images in color and monochrome, if you can't find the ideal card in this book, it probably doesn't exist.

As a young graphic designer, it is necessary to see what other artists invision and create. This book allows me not only to do that, but to go back to work feeling inspired and ready to create something new. There are excellent examples in this book of how artists are pushing the limit with the traditional business card. However, it also contains very reserved and traditional pieces that are done in a modern light. Also, it is a beautiful book to look at...clean, crisp, with information on printing style, paper, and other tools for each card.
