For illustrations of point b, note many of the carefully constructed reviews posted here that no thinking person could possibly believe - that is, if the person has looked into many of the eyewitness accounts that were ignored or never included in the original Commission report to begin with. They were ignored for obvious reasons too, because their testimony directly contested the report's conclusions, such as the witnesses who saw gunfire from the area of the knoll and *smelled* gunpowder.
So, on the contrary, this report is not the place to begin your investigation unless you are interested in reading one long fairy tale that never pretends to any kind of objectivity at all, except on the surface and in terms of its massive 26 volumes that were designed to discourage the public from reading them and to make it appear that a thorough investigation was conducted...not! Instead, just for starters, it's primarily a political whitewash of an Oswald who most likely worked for the Federal gov't as an agent on some level for many years, leading up to the time of the assassination, in which he was set up as the patsy - a fact that has been unconvincingly denied for more than 40 years because of its scandalous implications.
The only real purpose this report serves is to show the degree of paranoia that existed within the hidden political recesses of our country and the Federal gov't at the time - because of the tensions of the Cold War with the Soviet Union - and the steps these "honorable" men were willing to take to "protect" our country in the name of "national security," including the brutal murder of their own democratically-elected president. If Kennedy was considered a secret Communist and traitor by the likes of J. Edgar Hoover, Lyndon B. Johnson, or the Joint Chiefs of Staff, he should have been brought up on charges of impeachment - not murdered in the streets of Dallas.
And now, years later, look at the mess we are in because men of political conscience and genuine humanitarian concern have been systematically assassinated in order to preserve the war machine that was turned loose on Vietnam - and not by Kennedy either, who had talked about pulling out our ground troops - and are now on the loose in Iraq and threatening further wars. Should our country go down the tubes, we can look back to those leaders with a political conscience - who loved the people and the goodness within the soul of America, but were cut down in their prime... everyone knows the list by heart.
(By the way, it doesn't take a Rhodes Scholar to look at contemporary American society - and its destruction - to see all the other political abuses that are being committed on a daily basis in the name of "national security." Anyone see a pattern here?)

Countering Criticism of the Warren Report
1 April 1967
JFK 01, p.1
Chiefs, Certain Stations and Bases
Document Number 1035-960
for FOIA Review on Sep 1976
SUBJECT: Countering Criticism of the Warren Report
PSYCH
1. Our Concern. From the day of President Kennedy's assassination on, there has been speculation about the responsibility for his murder. Although this was stemmed for a time by the Warren Commission report (which appeared at the end of September 1964), various writers have now had time to scan the Commission's published report and documents for new pretexts for questioning, and there has been a new wave of books and articles criticizing the Commission's findings. In most cases the critics have speculated as to the existence of some kind of conspiracy, and often they have implied that the Commission itself was involved. Presumably as a result of the increasing challenge to the Warren Commission's Report, a public opinion poll recently indicated that 46% of the American public did not think that Oswald acted alone, while more than half of those polled thought that the Commission had left some questions unresolved. Doubtless polls abroad would show similar, or possibly more adverse, results.
2. This trend of opinion is a matter of concern to the U.S. government, including our organization. The members of the Warren Commission were naturally chosen for their integrity, experience, and prominence. They represented both major parties, and they and their staff were deliberately drawn from all sections of the country. Just because of the standing of the Commissioners, efforts to impugn their rectitude and wisdom tend to cast doubt on the whole leadership of American society. Moreover, there seems to be an increasing tendency to hint that President Johnson himself, as the one person who might be said to have benefited, was in some way responsible for the assassination. Innuendo of such seriousness affects not only the individual concerned, but also the whole reputation of the American government. Our organization itself is directly involved: among other facts, we contributed information to the investigation. Conspiracy theories have frequently thrown suspicion on our organization, for example by falsely alleging that Lee Harvey Oswald worked for us. The aim of this dispatch is to provide material for countering and discrediting the claims of the conspiracy theorists, so as to inhibit the circulation of such claims in other countries. Background information is supplied in a classified section and in a number of unclassified attachments.
3. Action. We do not recommend that discussion of the assassination question be initiated where it is not already taking place. Where discussion is active, however, addressees are requested:

a. To discuss the publicity problem with liaison and friendly elite contacts (especially politicians and editors), pointing out that the Warren Commission made as thorough an investigation as humanly possible, that the charges of the critics are without serious foundation, and that further speculative discussion only plays into the hands of the opposition. Point out also that parts of the conspiracy talk appear to be deliberately generated by Communist propagandists. Urge them to use their influence to discourage unfounded and irresponsible speculation.
b. To employ propaganda assets to answer and refute the attacks of the critics. Book reviews and feature articles are particularly appropriate for this purpose. The unclassified attachments to this guidance should provide useful background material for passage to assets. Our play should point out, as applicable, that the critics are (i) wedded to theories adopted before the evidence was in, (ii) politically interested, (iii) financially interested, (iv) hasty and inaccurate in their research, or (v) infatuated with their own theories. In the course of discussions of the whole phenomenon of criticism, a useful strategy may be to single out Epstein's theory for attack, using the attached Fletcher Knebel article and Spectator piece for background. (Although Mark Lane's book is much less convincing than Epstein's and comes off badly where contested by knowledgeable critics, it is also much more difficult to answer as a whole, as one becomes lost in a morass of unrelated details.)
4. In private or media discussion not directed at any particular writer, or in attacking publications which may be yet forthcoming, the following arguments should be useful:
a. No significant new evidence has emerged which the Commission did not consider. The assassination is sometimes compared (e.g., by Joachim Joesten and Bertrand Russell) with the Dreyfus case; however, unlike that case, the attacks on the Warren Commission have produced no new evidence, no new culprits have been convincingly identified, and there is no agreement among the critics. (A better parallel, though an imperfect one, might be with the Reichstag fire of 1933, which some competent historians (Fritz Tobias, A.J.P. Taylor, D.C. Watt) now believe was set by Van der Lubbe on his own initiative, without acting for either Nazis or Communists; the Nazis tried to pin the blame on the Communists, but the latter have been much more successful in convincing the world that the Nazis were to blame.)
b. Critics usually overvalue particular items and ignore others. They tend to place more emphasis on the recollections of individual eyewitnesses (which are less reliable and more divergent -- and hence offer more hand-holds for criticism) and less on ballistic, autopsy, and photographic evidence. A close examination of the Commission's records will usually show that the conflicting eyewitness accounts are quoted out of context, or were discarded by the commission for good and sufficient reason.
JFK 01, p.3
c. Conspiracy on the large scale often suggested would be impossible to conceal in the United States, esp. since informants could expect to receive large royalties, etc. Note that Robert Kennedy, Attorney General at the time and John F. Kennedy's brother, would be the last man to overlook or conceal any conspiracy. And as one reviewer pointed out, Congressman Gerald R. Ford would hardly have held his tongue for the sake of the Democratic administration, and Senator Russell would have had every political interest in exposing any misdeeds on the part of Chief Justice Warren. A conspirator moreover would hardly choose a location for a shooting where so much depended on conditions beyond his control: the route, the speed of the cars, the moving target, the risk that the assassin would be discovered. A group of wealthy conspirators could have arranged much more secure conditions.
d. Critics have often been enticed by a form of intellectual pride: they light on some theory and fall in love with it; they also scoff at the Commission because it did not always answer every question with a flat decision one way or the other. Actually, the make-up of the Commission and its staff was an excellent safeguard against over-commitment to any one theory; or against the illicit transformation of probabilities into certainties.
JFK 01, p.4
e. Oswald would not have been any sensible person's choice for a co-conspirator. He was a "loner," mixed-up, of questionable reliability and an unknown quantity to any professional intelligence service.
f. As to charges that the Commission's report was a rush job, it emerged three months after the deadline originally set. But to the degree that the Commission tried to speed up its reporting, this was largely due to the pressure of irresponsible speculation already appearing, in some cases coming from the same critics who, refusing to admit their errors, are now putting out new criticisms.
g. Such vague accusations as that "more than ten people have died mysteriously" can always be explained in some more natural way: e.g., the individuals concerned have for the most part died of natural causes; the Commission staff questioned 418 witnesses (the FBI interviewed far more people, conducting 25,000 interviews and reinterviews), and in such a large group, a certain number of deaths are to be expected. (When Penn Jones, one of the originators of the "ten mysterious deaths" line, appeared on television, it emerged that two of the deaths on his list were from heart attacks, one from cancer, one was from a head-on collision on a bridge, and one occurred when a driver drifted into a bridge abutment.)
5. Where possible, counter speculation by encouraging reference to the Commission's Report itself. Open-minded foreign readers should still be impressed by the care, thoroughness, objectivity and speed with which the Commission worked. Reviewers of other books might be encouraged to add to their account the idea that, checking back with the Report itself, they found it far superior to the work of its critics.
[end of CIA directive]
The Warren Commission made mistakes but..........2006-02-06
...they were pointed in the right direction. Instead of miscalculated blunders like conspiracy theorists, the government DID try to get it right. Most of the others are in it for the money and fame rather than the truth. Not perfect but 4.5 stars.
Actually READ this book before you dismiss it.......2006-01-23
The popular notion that this book is unreliable and obviously a joke is one of the most bizarre mistakes supported by the popular media. None of the people I have ever heard dismiss this book with a mere waive of their hand or a wisecrack has actually bothered to read the report. Yes, the work of the commission in its 26 volumes is not perfect. So what? There is an overwhelming consistency to the evidence and the conclusions of the commission. This report is fascinating because it is the distillation of all that work. Again, it might be possible to quibble with this or that, but the central conclusions of the commission are clearly supported by the weight of the evidence gathered by commission.
Read the book. Look at the documentary evidence in its actual context, not as it is mischaracterized and misquoted in the conspiracy literature. This book is very affordable and an important part of our nation's history. It is too serious and too important to be treated dismissively and irresponsibly to support theories that come from nothing more than fantasies spun from false notions of what the facts are.
The starting point for JFK enthusiasts.......2005-12-02
The Warren Report was the official report on the assassination of JFK. Because Lee Harvey Oswald was shot 2 days after the assassination by Jack Ruby, there was no trial. The American people would not stand for this, so President Johnson authorized the Warren Commission to determine what happened on November 22, 1963.
This book is an important work in American history, regardless of which side you take: lone assassin or conspiracy. It is fairly easy to follow; the authors sum up their conclusions in each sub-chapter, make their case and then dismiss what they believe is "uncredible."
Unfortunately, the book I have has no index and no table of contents. I'm not sure if this edition that I'm reviewing does or not; I suspect it also is lacking this critical apparatus. This makes reviewing their notes and conclusions somewhat muddled. Some would say that this was deliberate, all part of the conspiracy and coverup. I can't draw that conclusion.
The Warren Report doesn't prove that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. It proves that Lee Harvey Oswald COULD HAVE acted alone. Many leads are dismissed out of hand. For example: a Dallas cop saw Oswald running down Houston Avenue moments after the shooting, getting into the passenger side of a station wagon. Later that afternoon, that cop saw Oswald in the captain's office being interrogated. He told his chief that's the guy he saw. The chief dismissed this and said that a little old lady saw him board a bus after the shooting. Therefore there was no getaway car.
One of the reasons that Oswald was pinned down to the Kennedy killing was that he took a shot at General Walker. They pinned this crime to him in December of 1963; the shooting took place in March. The day before the shooting, a friend of Walker's saw 2 men peeking in Walker's windows. The day of the shooting, a teenager saw 2 men get into seperate cars, parked next door to Walker's house, and drive away. If Oswald did take a shot at Walker, then what of the other man? This is what I mean when I say the Warren Report proves Oswald COULD HAVE killed Kennedy. Many leads like this are not followed up.
This book should be the starting point of any serious reader who wants to know what happened to JFK. Read it and take a grain of salt. Then read one of the conspiracy books that dismisses the Warren Report out of hand. Then take another grain of salt.

Best Current Introduction to the JFK Case.......2003-12-13
Although one can quibble with a few details, this book is the most up-to-date concise introduction to the issues in the assassination of President Kennedy currently available. Anyone seeking a brief, informative and well-illustrated alternative to the dismal "Oswald did it" propaganda of Gerald Posner should give Galanor a read. There have been some good previous concise summaries of the evidence for conspiracy, but all are somewhat dated at this point. Stewart Galanor has ably filled an obvious gap in the literature.
If you have an open mind, you will be amazed.......2002-02-10
Stewart Galanor's book "Cover-Up" is one of top most powerful and informative reads you will find on the JFK assassination! It is loaded with many revelations not found in other books on the subject, and for those of us who have studied and researched the various books and articles on the subject for years, many examples of extremely close attention to details showing just how much evidence was tampered with or clearly altered in the course of the Warren Commission's investigation.
The pictures and documentation of the phyiscal evidence and the efforts to duplicate what is told to us as truth by the FBI and other investigative groups prove that without a doubt, we haven't been told the entire truth about what happened. Just the study and comparison of the wound analysis and ballistics PROVES that the whole premise that Lee Oswald did it alone is untenable.
Using the Scientific Method, one is able to prove or disprove predictions based on facts learned from trying to create and recreate results, and then using different variables to learn even more information. Galanor's "Document 24" is just one of many proofs that the evidence had to be altered because it could not be duplicated--the Sixth floor window is 60 feet from ground level, while the tower that was used to attempt to duplicate the shots from the "sixth floor elevation" at the Army's Aberdeen Proving Grounds (Warren Commission Exhibit 579) is only 30 feet high. There are many other startly examples in the book.
This is without question one of the best books on the JFK assassination you could read. It helps to bring together a lot of the facts that have been missed by others, and it powerfully illustrates that much of what we have been told as fact is ridiculous. If your views are those that support the findings of the Warren Commission, this book will shatter them. If your views support the idea that Oswald acted alone, the evidence in this book will show you how that position is no longer valid, simply because that which is purported to have been done by "Oswald" could not be duplicated.
Mr. Galanor should be commended for his interest and study of the records on which his work is based--obviously very few have devoted as much time with the keen eye for detail he has shown in finding much within the Warren Commission materials disproving their own positions after all these years. Harold Weisberg and Mark Lane were two of the first, and Galanor adds much to this ever-increasing long list of inaccurate information sold to the American people as fact.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to settle the doubts in their minds about whether or not we have ever been told the whole truth about the investigations into the JFK assassination!
don't bother.......2000-11-13
very simple review There is nothing new here. This seems like a conglomeration of everything already printed weather factual or speculative. very disapointing
Somewhat Disappointing.......2000-10-10
First and foremost, this little book is too brief to convince anybody of anything--I counted only 104 pages of true text. What was most disappointing for me was that the author was extremely selective about the "evidence" he presented that there was a cover-up. For example, even though the autopsists did not use approved methods when they noted that JFK's upper-back wound was "14 cm from the tip of the acromium process and 14 cm below the tip of the right mastoid process," this measurement at least fixed the location much more precisely than the "X" they marked on the autopsy face sheet. But, Galanor, of course, only mentions the "X." Also the autopsists stated the wound was "just above the upper border of the [right] scapula." Here again the author conveniently omitted their attempt to be more precise.Later, the author states that a paraffin test that showed no presence of nitrates on Oswald's right cheek was "consistent with the possibility that Oswald did not fire a rifle." This is true of course, but didn't Galanor think the readers might want to know that an FBI agent, who fired three shots in succession with the same rifle found on the sixth floor of the depository, also tested negative.I could go on but I don't want to beat a dead horse. So, if you're looking for the truth about the assassination of President Kennedy, I suggest you don't look for it here.
The Best Summation Available.......2000-09-14
Galanor has accomplished a feat that most students of this case have thought was next to impossible: a concise account of the most basic aspects of the assassination of JFK that enables new students to understand most of the crucial issues and old hands to fully appreciate their fundamental importance. In some ways, this stunning feat might have been expected from an author whose earlier work made calculus--perhaps the most difficult of undergraduate courses--accessible to students with no flare for mathematics.
In my own book on this case, MURDER IN DEALEY PLAZA (2000), I provide a set of 16 "smoking guns", beginning with two drawn from Galanor's book; and at the conclusion of my "Prologue", I advise my readers to begin with COVER-UP (1998) before they read mine. So don't be taken in by the book's easy-to-read style or by the abundant photographs, diagrams, and illustrations that make this case accessible to everyone who can read. It takes experts years to master this material. Galanor makes it accessible in hours.

Highly recommended .......2007-10-10
What most attracted me about this book was the fact that its author, Gaeton Fonzi, is an investigator who can write not based on other researchers' data and conclusions, but on the evidence he himself gathered during the House Committee on Assassinations lifetime.
In this book you will learn about how the CIA planted a fake "communist" Lee Harvey Oswald in Mexico City in order to put the blame on Communists, specifically Fidel Castro. Fonzi greatly reinforced my conviction that the CIA was behind this coup d'etat.
excellent companion volume to Ultimate Sacrifice.......2006-01-18
I highly recommend former HSCA investigator Gaeton Fonzi's book, as it is a great companion volume to Ultimate Sacrifice. Fonzi's book is very well written and put together. You can't go wrong with this one. Get it!

Another good companion volume to Ultimate Sacrifice
Former Senate investigator Gaeton Fonzi, of whom I have corresponded with, is to be commended for writing an excellent book about the HSCA, Cuba, and the JFK assassination. It is scholarly works like this that give the research community a good name. Get this!

Thank You Gaeton!.......2003-08-13
America owes a debt of gratitude to Gaeton Fonzi, former House Select Commitee on Assassinations investigator.
The HSCA was formed to give we the people the truth about the Asassination Conspiracy of President John F Kennedy, but instead, tons of HSCA documents are sealed away for decades to come!
What the HSCA didnt want to make too public, and what the media has totally hidden, is that the HSCA investigation proves once and for all that Lee Oswald was being framed for the assassination MONTHS before it happened!
Gaeton Fonzi is one of the few investigators for the HSCA who has gone against the grain, and who has come out to tell the American People the truth. He did so by writing this book.
One of the main points of Fonzi's book, is that CIA man "Maurice Bishop", was an alias used by David Atlee Phillips, former head of the CIA's Western Hemisphere division!
The identity of "Bishop" has long kept JFK assassination researchers interested because "Bishop" was seen with Lee Oswald in Dallas not long before the assassination, proving that the CIA had a link with Oswald, even though they said they didnt.
Couple this with the fact that Philips ("Bishop") did work for the CIA in Mexico City WHERE AN OSWALD IMPERSONATOR FRAMED HIM (Oswald) BEFORE THE ASSASSINATION, and the JFK murder mystery becomes much clearer.
One of the three best books on the JFK assassination.......2002-11-18
Along with Dick Russell's The Man Who Knew Too Much and Garrison's On the Trail of the Assassins, Gaeton Fonzi's book The Last Investigation actually provides information that enables the reader to move a bit closer to understanding the truth about the conspiracy that killed JFK. The book contains noteworthy information about key suspects such as David Phillips and Orlando Bosch. On behalf of the House Select Committee on Assassinations, Gaeton Fonzi interviewed Bosch and was involved in assessing the possible role of Phillips as "Maurice Bishop" who was alleged to have met with Oswald prior to the assassination. The information in this book is a must for any objective reader to assess the liklihood that a conspiracy took place. One almost certainly did take place, and the information Fonzi covers is important to understand what actually happened.

Book Description
Originally published in 1967, Sylvia Meagher's masterful dissection of the Warren Report, based on the Commission's own evidence, has stood the test of time well. In some cases, declassifications of government records have corroborated Meagher's suspicions and analyses, such as her amazing assertion that Oswald had never actually been charged with Kennedy's murder, despite sworn testimony to the contrary (see Commission Document 5 for the FBI's statement that "such arraignment was not necessary"). Meagher's book raises the most serious questions not only about Oswald's guilt in the JFK assassination and related crimes such as the Tippit murder and the Walker shooting, but also about the methods and honesty of the Warren Commission, the FBI, and various Dallas Police and other officials.
When the Church Committee in 1975 first began to re-examine the Warren Commission and its relationshipw with the intelligence agencies, investigators were shocked by what they discovered. Senator Richard Schweiker (R-PA) stated on public television that "the Warren Report has collapsed like a house of cards" and said this of Accessories After the Fact:
"By far the most meticulous and compelling indictment of the Warren Commission Report ever made. The significance of this book cannot be overstated."

Some Thoughts Re. The Long-Debated "Single-Bullet Theory"............2006-01-23
President John Kennedy was murdered in 1963 by an assassin's bullets, and Texas Governor John Connally was also badly wounded in this attack on the President. In my opinion, one man was responsible for those tragic events in Dallas, Texas. And that one man was Lee Harvey Oswald, who fired three shots at the President's motorcade from the Texas School Book Depository on Elm Street, killing the President and injuring the Governor of Texas.
The controversial "Single-Bullet Theory" (SBT) has been debated by historians, researchers, and critics ever since the release of the official Warren Commission Report in September of 1964.
But when one evaluates the probabilities of any OTHER explanation being the correct version of events surrounding the simultaneous wounding of both JFK and Governor Connally (especially when weighed against the strong evidence favoring the "SBT" version of the event), the Single-Bullet Theory's "likelihood" level rises considerably.
The Abraham Zapruder film of JFK's assassination has aided researchers the world over in attempting to re-construct the murder of the President and the wounding of Governor Connally. And there are many indications within that amateur movie that show the SBT to be an accurate scenario.
One such controversial "indication" of the initial bullet strike to Connally's body is the so-called "lapel flip", when the Governor's suit jacket bulges or "flips" at Zapruder Frame #224.
However, I haven't totally abandoned the idea (purported by some conspiracy theorists and possibly some lone-assassin believers as well) of "the wind" causing the lapel flip/bulge. BUT, I will say, if it WAS "the wind", it sure was an amazing coincidence that that gust of wind moved that lapel at the EXACT same 1/18th of a second when a bullet was probably going through the same general area of Governor Connally's body. Almost TOO much of a "coincidence" to be believed.
However, to be fair-minded on this topic -- it is true, I suppose, that CTers could lash back at the above statement of mine with -- "What the heck are you talkin' about! The lapel flip is the ONLY thing you LNers are relying on to indicate a definitive 'SBT' bullet strike at Z224! So without your 'flip', you've got nada!"
OK...fair enough argument. BUT, just AFTER the lapel flip (in the frames immediately following Z224) there are several things that occur to Gov. Connally that indicate a bullet had just passed through him -- e.g., Connally's "open-mouthed grimace" at precisely Z225. And JFK's mouth is "open" at this exact moment as well, which is BEFORE the President has distinctly moved his arms upward to his throat area.*
* = And, btw, although it can NEVER be "proven", due to that darn Stemmons Freeway road sign being in the way, it is quite possible that Z225 might very well be the VERY FIRST moment in time when JFK's mouth opened too....which, if it could be PROVEN (which it can never be, unfortunately), would be an absolutely-overwhelming indication that a single bullet was piercing both men at the exact same time. For, I ask: What would be the odds of having BOTH President Kennedy and John Connally having their mouths closed at Z224, but then, at Z225, opening their mouths in that exact same frame? If that road sign could be removed from the Z-Film, we'd know a great deal more, via the visual medium of Mr. Zapruder's film of the event.
Other post-Z224 "reactions" by Connally include a downward movement of his right shoulder, and the biggie for me -- that "Hat Flip", where his cowboy hat goes flying upward in a very quick space of a few Z-Film frames (and remember, it was the RIGHT hand flying upwards there, and it was the RIGHT wrist which was hit by a bullet that day).
However, the Zapruder Film (as good a piece of SBT-revealing evidence as it is) is really totally unneeded to prove the viability of the SBT. Because even without the existence of Mr. Zapruder's 26-second slice of tragic history in the making, there's so much OTHER evidence that tells a reasonable person with common sense that the Single-Bullet Theory is practically the ONLY way the shooting could have occurred back in '63.
Such evidence as:
1.) The Official JFK Autopsy Report (which was signed by all three autopsy doctors who attended President Kennedy's autopsy at Bethesda), which states without reservation that the bullet that entered JFK's upper back "made its exit through the anterior surface of the neck".
2.) The seated positions in the car of the two shooting victims, one right in front of the other (with JBC just a little lower and a little left of JFK, consistent with SBT-dom).
3.) The physical locations of the two victims' wounds, which are definitely consistent with one bullet having travelled through both JFK and JBC.
4.) The oblong-shaped entry wound on Governor Connally's back, perfectly consistent with the SBT....because this wound certainly indicates that the bullet which entered JBC's back hit something else prior to striking the Governor's back. And the only physical "something" that was between John Connally and the rifle which fired that bullet was the person of John F. Kennedy.
5.) "Stretcher Bullet CE399" being found IN THE HOSPITAL where the victims were taken.
6.) CE399 being scientifically linked to Lee Oswald's rifle and to Connally's wrist fragments. (With a good deal of probability, that bullet traversed John Connally's body that day in Dallas.)
7.) The incredibly-important fact of NO OTHER BULLETS being found anywhere that can be "connected" with these "SBT"-like wounds on the two victims (not a bullet in Connally and not a single whole bullet in Kennedy's back or neck either). This little item here is a KEY to proving the validity of the SBT, and the CTers need to go out on a very shaky limb to get around this not-so-insignificant "No Bullets In Kennedy" item; they'll need either divine intervention to further the conspiracy "plot", which would include BOTH bullets that went into JFK just vanishing ON THEIR OWN (somehow); or the conspiracists need an after-the-fact cover-up, which has plotters digging TWO whole bullets out of JFK's body without a single non-conspirator getting wise. (Not to mention the silliness in the first place of having to purport that TWO bullets just STOPPED DEAD in the soft flesh of the President, both failing to exit the body. That's nutty unto itself.)
8.) No back-seat limo damage that would indicate a bullet struck those seats. And no bullets there either (save very small fragments, plus the two larger fragments in the front seat, which perfectly conform to the Lone-Assassin head-shot scenario).
And the Zapruder Film isn't required to prove the existence of any of the above evidence. Therefore, sans the Z-Film, the SBT is still rock-solid.
Getting back to the lapel flip specifically for a moment more ---
The following motion clip covers Zapruder Frames 222 and 223. Via this excellent-quality Z-Film clip, it does seem that the jacket lapel of Mr. Connally might very well have been moving around even prior to Z224, thus casting some doubt on the idea that the "flip" at Z224 was being caused exclusively by a bullet........
http://216.122.129.112/dc/user_files/4107.gif
-----------------
In the final analysis ..... After all the chips have fallen (and considering all of the evidence favoring the SBT, while being forced via common sense and logical thinking to reject the incredible amount of hocus-pocus and conspiratorial hijinks that would have been required in order for the SBT to not be true) -- the Single-Bullet Theory, in my opinion, is by far the most-likely-to-be-correct version to explain the wounding of President Kennedy and Governor Connally on November 22nd, 1963.

Don't dismiss this book until you've actually read it..........2007-09-21
The Warren Report may very well be the most unfairly maligned document in U.S. History. Way too many people say that they distrust this book, and they haven't even bothered to read it. Yes, I know that we cannot trust everything our government does, and we have to be skeptical fully-informed citizens. But don't let the conspiracy buffs treat you like a bunch of foolish children. They will tell you that you are naive for believing the Warren Report, and then they will shamelessly manipulate documents and distort evidence because they know you will not bother to check their claims against the real facts. The buffs irresponsibly ignore the mountain of evidence which proves that Oswald acted alone, and they will nitpick away at every little anomaly in order to fabricate a ridiculous conspiracy theory. The men who wrote the Warren Report were earnest, fact-finding patriots, determined to uncover the truth. They were not part of a massive conspiracy or a cover-up. The book is 800 pages long, with 26 volumes of supporting evidence! How can that be considered a cover-up? This book is complete, fair, competently researched and written. I admire Posner, Jennings, and Bugliosi for their efforts to reaffirm the truth, but they really shouldn't have had to bother. The Warren Report should have silenced even the most paranoid, over-active imaginations decades ago. Maybe in a hundred years or so, people will look back on our time and wonder, "What the heck was wrong with those buffs and their silly notions?" And they will see the buffs as we see the ignorant and irrational judges who hanged innocent people in Salem.
Gerald Ford, Arlen Specter, The Warren Commission, Jean Davison, And The Single-Bullet Theory.......2007-03-19
WHY DID GERALD FORD "MOVE" ONE OF JOHN F. KENNEDY'S WOUNDS? WAS FORD ATTEMPTING TO CLARIFY THINGS? OR WAS HE PART OF SOME MASSIVE "COVER-UP" (AS MANY CONSPIRACY THEORISTS SEEM TO BELIEVE)?
--------------------------------------------------------
The subject of Warren Commission member Gerald Ford "moving" the location of President Kennedy's back wound has come up quite a bit in the wake of Mr. Ford's death on December 26, 2006; with, of course, the conspiracy theorists (CTers) of the world highlighting how Ford supposedly "moved" the wound for some conspiratorial or "cover-up" purposes.
But if CTers were to examine the WHOLE record of the JFK back wound (and the genesis of the Single-Bullet Theory), they'd realize that Ford's moving of the wound (on paper only, of course) actually tends to do the SBT more HARM than it does good!
I hadn't really realized that fact until just recently....with this fact coming to the forefront via some JFK Forum postings written by Jean Davison (the author of the outstanding 1983 book "Oswald's Game").
Why does the "Ford Move" do the SBT more harm than good, you ask?
Well, for starters, there's Warren Commission Exhibit #903 (which is a photograph that shows WC counsel member Arlen Specter with a probe/rod being held next to two "stand-in" victims, simulating the path of the single bullet that almost certainly had to pass through both JFK's body and John Connally's body on 11/22/63 in Dallas, Texas).
Via CE903, it can easily be seen that the metal rod does not indicate that JFK's back wound was in the "neck". It's definitely in the upper back; with an exit point JUST EXACTLY at the tie knot, perfectly matching the SBT's flight path.
Most anti-SBT conspiracy believers, in their usual "everything must be faked or phony" style, scoff at CE903, claiming it proves the SBT is "impossible", for some reason....which is obviously a kooky notion, because it proves no such thing.
The "Specter Holding A Rod" photo that is seen in CE903 is also in general agreement (location-wise) with the autopsy photo showing John F. Kennedy's back wound.
Assassination researcher and author Jean Davison wrote the following astute and common-sense-filled comments in December 2006 and January 2007 at an Internet JFK Forum:
"Both Morningstar and Kurtz claim that the entry wound HAD to be raised to the 'back of the neck' in order to make the Warren Commission's single bullet theory work. But the assertion isn't supported, it's simply a claim.
"Furthermore, the claim is false, since there was no need to raise the wound into the nape of the neck. Whether one agrees with it or not, the official WC illustration of the SBT (Commission Exhibit 903) IS the WC's trajectory for the single bullet, and it doesn't require an entry in 'the back of the neck'.
"I respectfully ask that you take another look at this issue. My question is still, what evidence is there that Ford made his revision in order to support the SBT?" -- Jean Davison; 12/31/2006
~~~~~~
"To my knowledge, {nobody} has ever explained how moving the back wound up to THE NECK supports the SBT. Nobody CAN support it, because moving the entry to the neck would destroy the WC's SBT trajectory, not strengthen it.
"Again I'll refer you to CE 903. Although Specter didn't drill a hole in the stand-in's body and drive the rod through it, had he done so, the entry would be in the upper back, not in the neck. There's a string on the wall above his hand that shows an angle of about 18 degrees -- that's the approximate angle measured by a surveyor during the re-enactment and the one the WC used for its SBT. If the rod is moved up to the neck, the bullet will exit well above the exit wound under JFK's Adam's apple.
"The claim that Ford's change 'strengthens' the WC's SBT is simply not true. If I haven't made my point by now, I give up." -- Jean Davison; 01/02/2007
~~~~~~
Is it any wonder why I've always loved the woman named "Jean" who wrote the above common-sense-filled remarks re. Gerald Ford, Arlen Specter, CE903, and the perfectly-logical Single-Bullet Theory?
Just excellent, Jean! And thank you.

Among the Best.......2006-07-02
Back in the early 70s I worked on Capitol Hill as a legislative aide on a Senate Commitee trying to reopen the Kennedy assassination or generate support for a House investigation. This was in the post-Garrison era and the credibility of anyone challenging the Warren Commission was suspect. (We now know that many of Garrison's failings were due to sabotage, but back then he was still radioactive to Senators, Representatives, and their staffs.)
Anyway, after all the backlash following the Clay Shaw acquittal it was still a tough sell, and the typical Congressman would give you no more than 5-10 minutes time to make your case, so we needed a one or two page list of powerful bullet points demonstrating that Oswald could not have acted alone, if he acted at all, and showing that the Warren investigation was compromised by the FBI and the CIA. These were serious allegations, so each
point had to be backed up by solid proof.
At the time, there were 5-6 serious books damning the Warren Commision Report: Inquest, by Edward J Epstein; Rush to Judgment by Mark Lane; Six Seconds in Dallas by Josiah Thompson; Whitewash by Harold Weisberg; and They've Killed the President by Robert Sam Anson.
In creating that fact sheet, no book was more carefully documented than Accessories after the Fact, and no book was more comprehensive and meticulous.
When we had to source each bullet point Meagher's book did the best job in directing us to the proof.
I left the Hill in 76--before the HSCA was created, and it has always bitter disappointment to me how its own work appears to ha ve been sabotaged, not unlike what happend to Garrison.
In the years since I have retained a keen interest in this topic, and at last count have read over 40 books. Meagher's book still remains one of the two or three best books written about JFK's death. In fact I consider it one of the best forensic investigation reports I have ever read in 25 years of practicing civil rights litigation.
Bring this book back in print!.......2004-03-22
Of all the books about the JFK assassination, why is ACCESSORIES AFTER THE FACT out of print? If you want to read books on how the Norweigian mob hired hitmen from the Planet Glixorg and had the assassination covered up by their media insider, Soupy Sales, there are dozens of books. But the one book to take a serious look at the Warren Commission's Report, to pick apart its inaccuracies, and to analyze its contradictions, is becoming harder and harder to find. Even Gerald Posner, in his tantrum, CASE CLOSED, could not lay a finger on the late Sylvia Meagher's masterwork. Why? Because it is a precise, unimpassioned, and brilliant piece of exploratory surgery on a very sick Warren Report. This book proves the Commission had a single purpose, and finding the truth was not that purpose. The lack of access to Sylvia Meagher's ACCESSORIES AFTER THE FACT is, to me, a tragic mistake and possible proof of a continuing cover-up.
( a must have research book), a reader from Dalhart, Tx.......2002-04-06
Ms. Meagher's book is well documented, insightful and detailed. She skillfully takes the reader through discrepancies in the Warren Commission report and lays it all out for the reader. Her conclusions are based on facts that are very clearly presented, and on common sense. At no time did I get the impression that this book was attempting to influence my views on the work of the Warren Commission. Ms. Meagher spells it out for the reader step by step.
An excellent, thought provoking Book!.......2001-07-10
Reading this book makes you wonder how many police departments and courts actually did what they were supposed to back in the 1960s, and how they're doing today. Ms Meagher does an excellent job breaking down the Warren Commission's report and demonstrating that their synopsis of events is based on multiple errors, misstatements, and wishful thinking. Having come out before most of the "conspiracy theory" genere that surrounds JFK assassinations tories today, Ms. Meaghers book stands above all of them. She refuses to let her book wander into sensationalism, does not implicate UFO's or any such things, nor does she mix in photos which claim to show the truth but are often blurry, grainy or totally unrevealing to the lay reader. Instead, she stays on target, picking apart the Warren Commission's flawed analysis with nimble wit and skill.

Whitewash was self-published in 1965, at a time when few publishing houses would consider a book challenging the Warren Report. Harold Weisberg rips the Conclusions of the Warren Commission in a professional unbiased way using the commissions own files.he presents no theories on who was behind the murder of JFK but focuses on the invesigation itself.an excellent extraordinary book for the novice or experienced researchers interested in the JFK Assassination!!!
EXTRAORDINARY.......1998-09-12
As an assassination researcher myself, I have become disheartened to see some researchers publish books solely for profit all the while forwarding ridiculous theories. Harold Weisberg is unique. Whitwash has laid a basis of credibility for all honest researchers to follow. No other publication can approximate its content. Whitewash analizes the unmistakable failings of the Report itself exclusively on the basis of the Commission's own information. A must reading for every American.
If you read only one JFK book, it should be this one.......1998-06-20
Harold Weisberg read the Warren Report and realized it was wrong. As a lone researcher, he took it upon himself to write "Whitewash," one of the first books to criticize the sanitized lone-assassin theory the government was eager to put out and the public was just as eager to ingest. Jay Edward Epstein, Mark Lane and Harold Weisberg disturbed the media calm that prevailed after newspapers worldwide delcared that one could rest easy, there was no conspiracy. Weisberg doesn't produce grainy photos of supposed gunmen, or interview questionable witnesses with swiss-cheese credibility. He goes into the Warren Commission volumes, shows the contradictions, and lets the facts almost speak for themselves.
This book is a stunning indictment of the pro-Solution position, and casts grave doubts on the efficiency of the Warren Commission. Whether the collective incompetence of the government was accidental or deliberate may be left up to the reader, but to hear Harold Weisberg is to hear the facts that were never made public, but which at the same time will not go away.
If you only read one book on the JFK assassination, make it this one. In a whisper, this book speaks volumes.

worth it for some things: get ULTIMATE SACRIFICE instead.......2005-12-13
Both this book and ULTIMATE SACRIFICE are 900 or so pages...yet, there is no contest---ULTIMATE SACRIFICE is far, far better and more factual. The Warren Report, despite a truckload of errors and omissions, is worth it for what it DOESN'T say (for comparison purposes), as well as the medical evidence reports of the Parkland doctors.

The starting point for JFK enthusiasts.......2005-12-01
Read The Warren Commission Report (The Whole Thing) -- It Makes Perfect "LN" Sense!.......2005-03-24
The Warren Commission's Report on the investigation and details surrounding the killing of President Kennedy in 1963 isn't a flawless volume. But it IS the true story, in my opinion.
Lee Harvey Oswald, by himself, killed JFK. Not ONE other person, besides Oswald, has ever (credibly) been linked to President Kennedy's murder. Not one. That fact, by itself, speaks volumes, IMO.
The alternative, completely-unsupported theories that many conspiracy believers have "substituted" for the WC's conclusions are far less credible than anything printed in the 888-Page "Warren Report" or in its 26 supporting volumes of exhibits and witness testimony.
Let's just concentrate for a moment on two important pages that occupy space in the Warren Report (WR), regarding the bullet evidence that proves Oswald's own Italian-made rifle was the instrument of death in Dallas on 11-22-63. Plus, let's have a gander at the "windshield and chrome strip" damage that was discovered in the limo after the November 22, 1963, assassination of JFK. ..........
Page 77 (WR):
>>> "Although there is some uncertainty whether the dent in the chrome on the windshield was present prior to the assassination, {the FBI's Robert} Frazier testified that the dent "had been caused by some projectile which struck the chrome on the inside surface". If it was caused by a shot during the assassination, Frazier stated that it would not have been caused by a bullet traveling at full velocity, but rather by a fragment traveling at "fairly high velocity". It could have been caused by either fragment found in the front seat of the limousine."
<
<<
-------
When trying to piece together the Dealey Plaza shooting, and when speculating on the possibility that the shot that went through JFK's back and neck MIGHT have somehow also caused the windshield and chrome damage to the limo (but later rejecting this hypothesis), the Warren Commission concluded (on Page #105 of the WR).......
>>> "Had that bullet struck the metal framing, which was dented, it would have torn a hole in the chrome and penetrated the framing, both inside and outside the car. At that exit velocity, the bullet would have penetrated any other metal or upholstery surface of the interior of the automobile."
<
<<
-------
The "slowed" bullet that struck the windshield and (possibly, but not positively) the chrome strip was the HEAD SHOT BULLET (after fragmenting inside the head of John F. Kennedy). Given the known evidence, the ONLY possible bullet that could have caused both the windshield and chrome damage to the vehicle was the bullet that had just passed through the skull of President Kennedy. Because, given the FBI analysis, we know the limo damage could not possibly have been caused by a MISSED shot (unless the shooters were using very low-powered weapons to shoot the President with, which is just a silly notion to begin with).
And .... That head-shot bullet positively came out of Lee Harvey Oswald's rifle, which was found inside Oswald's workplace at the Texas School Book Depository Building, on the very same floor where Oswald himself was seen firing a rifle at the President's car at 12:30 PM on November 22.
It "fits" absolutely perfectly with the scenario of Oswald firing his 6.5mm Mannlicher-Carcano rifle from above and behind the President. BOTH larger fragments found in the limo front seat and the "Stretcher Bullet" found inside Parkland Memorial Hospital (Bullet 'CE399') were ALL ballistically linked to Oswald's rifle to the exclusion of every other weapon on Earth. ......
Page 85 (WR):
>>> "After independent examinations, both {Robert A.} Frazier and {Joseph D.} Nicol positively identified the nearly whole bullet from the stretcher and the two larger bullet fragments found in the Presidential limousine as having been fired in the C2766 Mannlicher-Carcano rifle found in the Depository to the exclusion of all other weapons."
<

The above WR excerpt that verifies beyond any doubt that the two fragments, as well as CE399, were fired from Oswald's weapon, should make every conspiracy theorist realize just how utterly silly the theory of "planting" CE399 at Parkland Hospital truly is.
Since we KNOW that Oswald's C2766 Carcano WAS being fired from the Depository on November 22, 1963 (and this is VERIFIED beyond any doubt by the fact there were two bullet fragments FOUND INSIDE THE LIMOUSINE that came from LHO's rifle) -- this means that any "planting" of CE399 would have been superfluous, because there was ALREADY TRACE EVIDENCE IN THE CAR THAT WOULD IMPLICATE OSWALD IN THE ASSASSINATION.
Therefore, no "planting" of an Oswald bullet was necessary whatsoever.*
* = Unless you wish to believe that the "plotters" were so fearful that their Oswald "look-alike" in the Depository would totally MISS everything in Dealey Plaza, leaving no trace of Oswald's own weapon anywhere to be recovered, that they therefore insisted upon RISKING blowing their "Patsy" plot to bits by planting a potentially EXTRA bullet which would quite possibly not even be needed (had all bullets been recovered inside John Kennedy and John Connally, which, at the time when the CE399 bullet would have been "planted", was certainly a possibility). A very foolish "risk" to take, IMO.
Every single bit of this evidence being discussed here perfectly FITS, in every way, the "Oswald-Did-It-Alone" (aka: "Lone Nut") scenario. To a tee. Right down to the obvious conclusion, IMO, of having TWO damaged areas at the front of the limo -- Chrome / Windshield -- and an exact equal number of (Oswald's) bullet parts -- TWO -- found in this same area of the car (front seat). To a tee, it fits.
Because if somebody WASN'T using Oswald's rifle in the Depository, then HOW did bullet fragments from LHO's Carcano weapon manage to get INTO THE LIMOUSINE ON NOVEMBER 22ND, 1963?**
** = Or do CTers think that the TWO large bullet fragments found in the limousine were "planted" there too (like seemingly everything else in this case that even remotely points an accusing finger at "Saint Oswald", including, of course, the only other bullet that was verifiably determined to have struck any victim on November 22 -- CE399)? Frankly, I'm of the opinion that the "Everything Was Faked Or Fabricated Or Planted" CT excuse has been worn threadbare.
There is no way that conspiracy theorists can adequately (and believably) write off the wealth of verifiable evidence that shows a Mr. Oswald to be "guilty as charged". It can't be simply brushed aside as being "all phony or fake" in some manner. Can't be done while maintaining anything resembling a straight face, at any rate.
Here's a "Clue" as to what I think the solution to this mystery is: "OSWALD IN THE DEPOSITORY WITH RIFLE #C2766".***
*** = Rather than the CT option which, I think, is: "JAMES FILES ON THE KNOLL WITH AN UMBRELLA". ..... No, wait, that's not quite accurate. The "Umbrella Man" wasn't behind a fence on the "Grassy Knoll"; he was right out in the open on Elm Street so everybody could see him fire his "Umbrella Dart" at the President. Oh, what the heck .... who can keep track of all the crazy conspiracy ideas anyway? They're more abundant in number than ants at a picnic.
I'd sooner believe it was Colonel Mustard in the Ballroom with a Boomerang, rather than buy into any of the many screwball conspiracy theories that have been offered up for the gullible public to swallow.
Problems, Problems, Problems..........2005-02-22
The Warren Report is the basic starting point for anybody who is even remotely interested in researching the JFK assassination. The book is massive - nearly 2 inches thick, 9 inches in length and 6 inches in width and clocks in at 888 pages. There are many illustrations and photographs to help break the monotony and they are helpful in understanding the text.
Be forewarned. This report is not to be taken at face value. It promotes itself while at the same time laying blame on everybody from Oswald to the Secret Service and the Dallas County Police. You have every right to be critical of this book because of its omissions. One of the most important pieces of evidence - the autopsy photographs - have been completely omitted. Not because they would serve as only disturbing the American people and the Kennedy family but because they where deliberately HOAXED when revealed to the public through the media. There is no excuse for providing the American people with autopsy photographs of another dead man who was not President Kennedy. The original autopsy photographs have since come to light and these shed new information on the case. The report does not even touch on that topic. These photographs alone should warrant deep consideration by the even the most hardened lone-gunman supporters. How can the Warren Report expound on the wrongness of the Dallas Police revealing inaccurate case information when itself is staying shut-mouthed on the deliberately hoaxed autopsy photographs? This kind of hypocrisy is mind shattering and only serves to drive home the most important item of interest of the whole affair - that the US government is knowingly and deliberately hiding evidence and information to protect some interest. You must read more elsewhere to learn the full facts of the case and the other host of omissions that where deliberately kept aside from this report.
The warren commission report starts with its summary and conclusions - that Oswald acted alone in killing President Kennedy and that there was no conspiracy. It then gives a brief synopsis of the assassination and the circumstances surrounding the events on November 22nd 1963. The report continues by developing the scenario in the Texas School Book Depository including the evidence gained from witnesses at the scene and the recovery of the riffle, spent shells and prints. Connections are established between Oswald and the riffle and the School Book Depository building before moving on to the motive and Oswalds background.
The report then deals with Oswalds detention, the media, Oswalds murder and his assassin - Jack Ruby. The next chapter deals with investigating a possible conspiracy before laying out Oswalds background in detail. Next up the Warren report deals with the protection of the President and concludes the entire events on page 468. The remainder of the book goes in-depth with expert witness testimony with several recommendations and more background on Oswald.
In the end you are left feeling that Oswald was involved in the assassination one way or another and certainly the slaying of Officer J.D Tippit by Oswald is the clincher. The murder of patrolman Tippit is a key event which shows that Oswald was capable of murder and was also on a killing frenzy at the time of the assassination. He also tried to shoot officers when he was apprehended in the film theatre. Did Oswald shoot President Kennedy? Probably Yes. Could the Magic bullet theory work? It is possible. Did Jack Ruby kill Oswald on the spur of the moment? The facts surrounding this are vague. Did Oswald act alone? It is possible but unlikely. Does the Warren report do justice for the American people and the people of the world? Absolutely not. Does the Warren report deliberately neglect important and relevant information? Absolutely. Would an impartial jury convict Oswald on the assassination of President Kennedy based on the evidence? Probably not because there is too much doubt at large to deal with. Would an impartial jury convict Oswald of the murder J.D Tippit? Yes. Is there a cover-up and if so why?
The truth is that there is probably a cover-up involved and the Warren report as it stands today is absolute proof that the US government at the time was knee-deep in a conspiracy of some kind simply based on its omissions and neglect to deal with highly important and relevant evidence. Was there a government conspiracy to assassinate the President? Probably not, but there was a cover-up of a conspiracy of some kind and this is what is at the heart of the whole assassination and the follow up events including this report. A blind eye has probably been turned to the truth surrounding the assassination because President Kennedy was considered an obstacle to many important people. In fact the Warren Commission report has all the hallmarks of a new administration that just wants to sweep everything under the carpet.
All in all this is a five star book, not because of the quality of the report, but because its contents when compared to what we now know only serve as a reminder that even the administrators of what is supposed to be a leading democratic and free nation can act in such a wreckful and manipulative manner.
In short Oswald was definitely firing shots from the Dallas School Book Depository building. He owned the gun that shot at the president. He murdered a police officer and tried to kill more. He also tried to assassinate Maj. Gen. Edwin A. Walker but failed. The chances that Oswald was the only one firing shots at President Kennedy that fateful day in Dallas are slim. When you add an extra shooter the whole thing falls into place. To quote Occams Razor - When explaining a thing, no more assumptions should be made than are necessary.
Magic Bullet vs more than one assassin? - The extra assassin is simply the more logical conclusion easily.
horrible book and is the first indication.......2002-08-05
of a massive coverup in the JFK assassination. this book is just horrible, and the Warren Commisson was a fake from the beginning. the whole point of the commission was to conclude that Oswald and only Oswald was responsible for JFK's death and they can't do that beyond a reasonable doubt.
their single bullet theory is horrible and so are Oswald's motives. they couldn't duplicate Oswald's shooting spree and their only explanation for the head shot is a back spasm. they exclude important testimony and in most cases, never interviewed many important witnesses. another interesting fact is that some 19 witnesses died within 38 or 39 months follwing JFK's assassination.
then the members themselves.
almost all 12 had some ties to the Military in one way or another. the best example of the Warren Commission being a fake commisson is the hiring of Allen Dulles onto the commission. Dulles was fired by Kennedy following the Bay of Pigs fiasco and then 2 years later is appointed by LBJ to investigate the murder of the very man who hired him? Dulle's job on the commission was only to keep the CIA/Mafia/Bay of Pigs under wraps and quiet from the other commission members and from the world, and it worked.....unitl 1975. then, their cover was blown and more light was shed on what really happened on November 22, 1963.
horrible book.
