They Came To Earth Millions Of Years
Ago To Spread The Poison Of Hatred,
War And Catastrophe...
They Are With Us Still...
Human history is a seemingly endless succession of bloody conflicts and devastating turmoil. Yet, inexplicably, in the light of astonshing intellectual and technological advancement, Man's progress has been halted in one crucial area: he still indulges the primitive beast within and makes war upon his neighbors.
As a result of seven years of intense research, William Bramley has unconvered the sinister thread that links humanity's darkest events -- from the wars of the ancient pharaohs to the assissination of JFK. In this remarkable, shocking and absolutely compelling work, Bramley presents disturbing evidence of an alien presence on Earth -- extraterrestrial visitors who have conspired to dominate Humankind through violence and chaos since the beginning of time...a conspiracy which continues to this very day.

Adequate for leisure reading, not to be taken seriously .......2007-09-16
I bought this book thinking it would present to me a startling revelation about the 'true' history of mankind, but to my utter dismay, this piece offered nothing of the sort. Bramley brings up an abundance of evidence from centuries ago (ancient civilization and pre-modern times), and proceeds to analyze it with his wacky mind. He twists the major events in history to suit his own theory. For example, during the Black Plague, colored mists were seen shortly before many outbreaks, recorded in the firsthand accounts of people from the past. So he concludes that the mist is the result of alien germ warfare. Also, the book contains no direct link between the eras he discusses and the alien race. He just goes on from the starting point set forth by his introduction chapters and rambles on from there, proposing that the Brotherhood caused this, the Brotherhood did that, but where is the evidence? Using the words of Yoda, may I inform you fellow human readers that: 'A major disappointment this book is.'
Will you dare to be unplugged from The Matrix?.......2007-09-01
William Bramley's book is a phenomenal read. This book examines man's history beginning with Genesis and covers warfare, money, mankinds inhumanity towards each other and who is really running the planet and more. (No we bipedal apes are not alone and running the show much as we would like to think we are).
A very interesting read, however I wonder if most people will be able to read this with a open mind and humble heart.
Much of this book explained and put a closure on many basic questions I have had for a very long time concerning mankind's stupidy towards each other and his holding onto so many fundamentalist and primitive beliefs. Like Neo in the Matrix, I've always felt that "something was amiss" I just didn't know the what and why of it. Knowledge is power, will you let Bramley's book unplug you from the Matrix? Funny, fact is often stranger then fiction.
A generally good read, but............2007-08-21
Honestly, I'm not quite sure how to rate this book. On the one side, the author posits a theory at the outset but only barely carries it forward through the book and provides scant evidence to support it. On the other side, the author takes the reader through a facinating view of history and points out a lot of unseen links between seemingly disperate events. The writing is mostly engaging and the progression quite easy to follow, but at points there are jarring subject changes from one paragraph to the next. Most of the book is an attempt at an objective view toward historical events, but at the end the author makes a marked (though not necessarily unexpected) turn in to the metaphysical.
As much as I enjoyed reading the book overall, I do find myself questioning the value of the material because of some of what the author said. In at least one area I believe he stated as fact something which I believe (though I'm no experect) is incorrect. At another point he takes a decidedly limited view on a topic (one I am quite informed about) and presents only one side of the issue. Identifying these problems in the text forced me to question the validity of the rest of the material presented.
Good read as it generally was, I came away from the book unsatisfied.
The Gods of Eden is essential reading.......2007-08-19
I have heard of the Gods of Eden many times in the past but hadn't got round to reading it and then I was watching a video with contactee Alex Collier recommending it and seeing as I was so impressed with what he had to say I searched online to buy a copy here and am very glad I did so!
William Bramley's book is a classic work for anyone investigating UFOs and conspiracy theories or is looking for the truth about this crazy world.
The Gods Of Eden.......2007-05-21
Very good! The book solves the question about different tribes (Hebrews, Sunnis, etc) and civilizations (Meso-American,Asian, etc). claiming the gods or God as the "one and only". More importantly the book clearly points out what all Buddhas, sages, and worthies have repeatedly stated: "Enlightenment comes from within, not outside yourself."
Amazon.com's Best of 2001
Yossi Klein Halevi, born in America and now an Israeli citizen, embarked on a spiritual quest in order to appreciate the religious dimensions of conflicts in the Middle East. Beginning in 1998, he undertook "an attempt at religious empathy" in order "to test whether faith could be a means of healing rather than intensifying the conflicts in this land." Halevi, author of the critically acclaimed Memoirs of a Jewish Extremist, chose "to pray and meditate with my Christian and Muslim fellow believers," as "a conscious refutation of the way we religious people of different faiths have always judged each other--by what we believe about God, rather than how we experience God's presence." The holy days of each religion form the structure of At the Entrance to the Garden of Eden, and Halevi's encounters with Sufi dervishes, Muslim sheiks, monks, nuns, and laypeople are entertaining, poignant, and sometimes fearsome. The stories do not separate "spirituality" from "politics"--or history, psychology, or theology. His commitment to describing an integrated experience of the many aspects of religious life helps to make the book a successful exercise in empathy, and a book of lasting literary value. --Michael Joseph Gross
Book Description
Yossi Klein Halevi's first book, Memoirs of a Jewish Extremist, a remarkable coming-of-age story, was lauded by the New York Times as being "of burning importance ... a drama central to the very soul of Jewish life." Now, in At the Entrance to the Garden of Eden, Haleví describes his unprecedented and extraordinary spiritual journey to discover, as a religious Israeli Jew, a common spiritual language with his Christian and Muslim neighbors in the Holy Land.
While religion has fueled the violent conflict plaguing the Middle East, Halevi wondered whether it could be a source of unity as well. To find the answer, he began a two-year exploration of the devotional life of Christianity and Islam. He followed their holiday cycles, befriended Christian monastics and Islamic mystics, and joined them in prayer in monasteries and mosques -- searching for wisdom and holiness in places that are usually off-limits to outsiders of other faiths.
In this gripping work, Halevi candidly reveals how he fought to resolve his own fears and anger as a Jew and came to relate to Christians and Muslims as fellow spiritual seekers. He chronicles the difficulty of overcoming obstacles -- theological, political, historical, and psychological -- that separate believers of the three monotheistic faiths. And he introduces a dynamic range of fascinating individuals attempting to reconcile the dichotomous heart of this sacred place -- a struggle central to Israel, but which resonates for us all.
Written in lyrical prose, Halevi takes his search for God into the heart of the Middle Eastern conflict. He insists on a spirituality that isn't escapist but instead confronts the wounds of history. The result is a book startlingly original and bold, one that embraces and transcends the categories of politics and faith.

An honest, humble, inspiring adventure.......2006-09-08
I just love this guy. Starting with a simple urge to connect with his neighbors, Yossi Halevi embarks on an awkward, fascinating, dangerous journey through Israel, the West Bank and Gaza. He discovers a series of surprising characters who dream, not just of peace between Jews, Muslims and Christians, but of spiritual friendship. And the story of these fragile, budding friendships becomes an adventure of almost overwhelming power.
I want to quote from one episode, where Halevi and a madcap Jew called Eliyahu Charanamrit McLean attend a mosque in Karawa village on the West Bank:
"This mosque was a family project: Everyone here belonged to the Abu-Laben clan. They were working class people; the shaykh himself was a car mechanic.
"What do the other Muslims think of you?" Eliyahu asked.
"That we're crazy," replied Saud's father. "They think we chant the name of 'Abdallah' instead of 'Allah"". Laughter.
I asked Saud what he experienced during the zakir [or dance of remembering God]. "That our hearts kept getting closer and closer to God," he said, with the Sufi vagueness I'd so often encountered from Ibrahim. ...
Ibrahim, not to be poetically outdone, added "Our souls went up to heaven like clouds".
"When you pray together," said the shaykh's father, "you form one heart".
I felt sad for this forlorn Sufi Shteibl. Here was an Islam with which we could make peace, yet it was almost absurdly perepheral. Still, maybe the fact that a handful of Muslims and Jews had danced together was enough for God to work with; perhaps He would magnify our prayers, widen the circle of ecstasy." (p. 104-105)
Halevi is realist enough to claim no easy victories. As the level of sectarian violence rises again, his network of friends retains little but hope and prayer. It's a marvelous book.
A study in courage.......2006-05-17
One problem with writing intelligent books on religion is that religion demands the author experience it. Halevi takes this difficult challenge and seeks common ground with Christians and Muslims. To find this common ground he is willing to push his boundaries, go beyond his fears to find a common ground.
In his efforts he encounters a Catholic order of religious that seeks to return to the Jewish roots of Jesus as a common ground for Jewish-Christian relations; a Catholic monk of the Melkite rite (Jerusalem rite) seeing Arab-Jewish understanding through the Arab Christian; a common ground of genocide with Armenian Christians; a common ground of love with Sufi sheiks ...
Throughout his search runs a thread of the common monotheistic underpinnings of the three major religions of Israel. A second thread is a more universal acceptance that includes the great Eastern traditions - Buddhism and Hinduism. The third thread is the history of the Jewish people and the reality of strife in Israel. Through these threads, Halevi challenges the reader to confront his or her prejudices in the political and religious arenas.
The net result is not a great book, but one I highly recommend because of the issues raised and the author's personal willingness to share his experience in addressing the issues.
Entrance to the Garden of Eden: A Jew's Search for Hope with Christians and Muslims in the Holy Land.......2005-10-08
This is a must for all ethnic groups to read.
Hope.......2005-09-10
The title is exact. Halevi is an extraordinary person: a mystic deeply rooted in his Jewish faith but who can share a common search for peace and religious experience with Christians, the historic persecutors of Jews, and with Muslims, who have now become the "enemy." I know three of the communities of Christians he shared with and the descriptions are accurate so I can assume the Muslim sections are just as fair. Anyone searching for religious and mystic truth that is non-violent but serious about faith and God will love this book.
What real faith is all about. Amazing........2005-02-14
Yossi Halevy thinks he is only writing about interfaith connections in the holy land, but in fact the most inspiring aspect of the book is the delicate portrait of his own faith in God, where this deep faith takes him, and the grace of goodwill and wisdom that it creates inside his soul.

Book Description
A groundbreaking historical documentation of the secret history of pre-Pharonic Egypt and the race of angels that built it.
â¢By the author of From the Ashes of Angels and Gateway to Atlantis (more than 30,000 copies sold in the United Kingdom).
â¢Unlocks the secrets of how the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx were built.
â¢Explains the traces left by the race of Elder gods that founded ancient Egypt through ancient texts of the Hall of Records.
â¢Proves the foundations of ancient astronomy 10,000 years ago.
Hidden deep below Egypt's Giza plateau is perhaps the key to unlocking the mysteries of the Great Pyramid, one of the seven wonders of the world. Built using a technology unequalled even today, the ancient Egyptians claimed they inherited their advanced culture from a race of Elder gods who lived during a previous age known as Zep Tepi, the First Time.
In his earlier companion book From the Ashes of Angels, renowned historical writer Andrew Collins provided historical and scientific evidence showing how these Elder gods, who were the flesh and blood members of a race of fallen angels, founded ancient Egypt. Now, in Gods of Eden, he describes the remarkable achievements of their culture.Â
Assembling clues from archaeology, mythology, and religion, Collins shows us how this great society mastered acoustic technology and employed the use of sound to raise heavy objects into the air and pierce holes through solid rock. It was with this technology that they were able to construct gigantic structures that have marveled adventurers and archaeologists worldwide. With findings based on more than 20 years of research and scholarship, Collins reveals the fascinating historical destiny of this culture of fallen angels and the imprints and legacies they left behind at the genesis of civilization.Â

Excellent Theories.......2007-06-08
I like the connections this guy makes between divergent sources in early history. Explains why we think the way we do today.
Hall Of Records Will Be Revealed Soon.......2004-10-02
This book gets five stars because of the amazing information about lost technologies and a description of the mysterious secret complex under the Giza plateau.
I have no doubt whatsoever that there are unimaginable secrets waiting to be uncovered at the Giza plateau as Edgar Cayce has predicted. The grave robbers stole most of the material treasures from the kings' tombs but much greater treasure has yet to be discovered. Nobody has disturbed it because the sphinx was set as a sentinel to protect it all these thousands of years.
This amazing theory (which I believe) was that the Giza plateau was designed based on a time scale of thousands of years and the monuments reflect the position of the stars and constellations over this time period. Who built the great pyramid and the other monuments ? Not aliens as many believe but gods. Even the Christ spirit was there in the form of Hermes.
The number 12 comes up a lot in this book. Twelve is a very mysterious number. According to the book 'UFO Contact From Planet Iarga' there are twelve universes. The Iargans showed a sort of machine which has been created on another planet which represents the twelve universes. It's a machine that just keeps running forever.
This is consistent with the idea that the complex under the Giza plateau mirrors the creation of the universe(s).
As recently as the early 1900s people have witnessed monks in Tibet both levitating and disintegrating gigantic stones using musical instruments including a strange 'gong'.
Einstein said that 'imagination is more important than information'. I agree with the author that a lot of the people controlling the Giza plateau are suffering from a severe lack of imagination. Rather than realize that the great pyramid is a machine (read 'The Giza Power Plant' by Christopher Dunn) they keep drilling holes and damaging the pyramid even more than it already has been.
A lack of imagination can have terrible consequences. The conclusion of the 9/11 commission was that 9/11 was caused by a failure of imagination.

Solid facts, odd conclusions.......2003-04-27
I would give this book 5 stars for a good research done. But there are some very strange arguments.
Notably, the author actually relies on revelations by psychics. Well, this seems too much for me.
Very irritating is the author's manner of attaching words like "unquestionably" to what should be properly regarded as wild suppositions.
Many statements of facts raise doubts, especially when skilled artisan work and agriculture are assigned to 8000-9000 BCE.
The author attempts to make a point that ancient Egyptians had technology, unavailable even now. That's because we can't build pyramids like they did. So, what technology is that? Believe it or not, the author spends much effort to prove they possessed... saws. You got it right, the incredible technology was the brass saw, perhaps with sapphires on the edge. Of course, this is more than what is normally allowed for that time, but come on, you can't say someone built the pyramids with brass saws and then claim they had higher technology than we do.
Another proof is equally strange, although in its own way. It is commonly thought that Egyptians employed drills under pressure of 1 to 2 tons. This equipment is no rocket science, you see. But the author prefers to conjecture they used ultrasonic drills. Excuse me, but ultrasonic drill should work like a hammer, it won't leave spiral traces, like those found.
Other traces of this antedeluvian culture are equally unimpressive. There are no factories or spacecraft, just a few stones and artefacts, worked up better than we expect of this era. But doesn't it make sense to question their dating, then?
Authors' hypothesis on using sound to lift stones, right or wrong, is pure fantasy.
In order to find similarities between different cultures, the author discusses only those religious ceremonies and gods, which are alike. Not even exact, just somewhat alike. But if we look for dissimilarities, there is much more of them.
The author's point is unclear, but he seems to imply that these highly developed people of the previous civilization, who built pyramids, were in fact bird-worshipping shamans. And fish-worshipping, too. And star-worshipping. In effect, they were just shamans. Would you believe these people left us highly advanced knowledge, hidden below the pyramids?
Excellent overview of the mysteries of Egypt.......2003-01-09
I accidentally came upon Andrew Collins when researching material on Atlantis, and read his excellent GATEWAY TO ATLANTIS. I had to go to Amazon.uk to find his previous works. Good thing they are now readily availble in the USA.
GODS OF EDEN is one of those books that one needs to pick up periodically to mull over. It's nearly impossible to take in all of Collins' theories in one go. But he makes impressive arguments that the Egyptian culture is much older than traditional archeologists will admit. While kicking a bit of dust at the stodgy, old Egyptologists at the British Museum, Collins also deftly avoids the smoke and mirrors of "pyramidiots" old and new.
I admit he loses me a bit when he travels too far afield of Egypt, but I attribute the fault with myself and not with him. The book is copiously footnoted (they make good reading in themselves) and well researched.

Simply put: "Joens, give me another!".......2001-11-28
Between the two I was simply engrossed in the books. Even when I was reading for the second time I still didn't want to stop. Though the vocabulary sometimes can get fairly high, it doesn't take away from the book, but helps you expand your own vocabulary. The time period is in the 5th Century AD, a time often not written about and riddled with themes, religions, and social issues of the time giving me a greater knowledge and desire for knowledge with each page read. It had romance, was funny, action packed, descriptive, and filled with change and faith in Jesus, as Aerick encounters Jesus and learns to put his faith in Him.
My favorite 2 books.......2000-07-07

is that the sound of footsteps behind me, or just the pounding of my racing heart? ... i was so deeply engrosed in this book i wasnt able to tell the difference! this book (like the previous) is just AMAZING! when is #3 coming out?
okay--a better use of time than a night of t.v........1999-07-02
i found that joens has actually done some research of the nordic pantheon. i enjoyed his usage of the importance of faith and myth throughout his two books. the story line itself can get fairly predictable at times, however, i found myself doing side research in germanic mythology and history of the british isles--the research didn't appear terribly deep or broad, but still, a good introduction into the lifestyle, philosophy and heart of the period. i'd really like to talk to the author about his definition of myth and how it is used in practical living. moreover, i'd like to see the parallel conflicts in the faiths represented--nordic and judeo-christian. the representation of the christian faith was a little overt--the subtleties not appreciated, nor its strength.
INCREDIBLE BOOK! A MUST READ!!!!!.......1999-05-14
This book is simply AMAZING! When is book 3 coming out? I can't wait to see what finally happens with the Anglo-Saxon war - it is incredible. Jones's writing style is simply superb!!!!

scholarly historical view of causes of world discord.......1999-09-13
This is a scholarly historical account of the many causes of world discord - the author deals with all the world's major religions, plus the influences on historical events of secret brotherhoods like the Templars and Freemasons. He credits many of the wars of the 18th century (including the American and French revolutions) with "armys for hire" (which is how a German came to sit on the English throne - England owed Germany so much money for leased armys the Germans ended up "owning" the country). He also deals with the invention of currency and the power of world banks that currency made possible. He disclaims any prior intent to include in the book "alien" influences on world history, but finds this conclusion inescapable after extensive research. He conlcudes that Ezekiel, Jesus, Mohamad, Budha, and many other great religious leaders were "hypnotized" by aliens (each had a life-altering "vision") and manipulated into forming new religions - this proliferation of religions aided the agenda of creating world discord which, of course, persists to this day. This book is a keeper and a must-read for history buffs, conspiracy theorists, alien-phenomina researchers, and those interested in secret brotherhoods, economics, and of course, religions.

THe spring board for all that follows is: "Genesis 3:15, "And I will put enmity between you (satan) and the woman (Eve), and between your seed and her seed; He (the seed of the woman) shall bruise you on the head, and you (satan) shall bruise Him on the heel."
