This was the first X-men book that I read, and since I know them from books and have never read a comic, that's something. It's still one of my favourite. It doesn't have as much action as others I have read, but it is still an excellent read and a good, solid book. I do reccomend it.

This book was one of the best books I've read. I liked all the characters and the scenes in the book. Who ever likes superstition or adventure books, this is the one you got to read. This book is about Juggernaunt and the emerald. This emerald gives Juggernaunt strong powers. Since there is another emerald in the same dimension, who ever wears it will make Juggernaunt weak. It is up to the X-Men to stop Steve Service who has the emerald. I liked the characters in the book. Gambit was good at sneaking in the office of the big boss. This book gives lots of suspense. This book also teaches teamwork. If the X-Men did not have team work in this book, they would have been defeated. I would rate this book an 8 between 1 to 10. It has lots of adventure and action. I loved this book and I hope you enjoy or enjoyed this book too.

This was definitely one of the most boring books I've everread. I liked the character Gary Service, but that's about it. Therewas a few (very few) good parts, but overall I just coulndn't get intothe book. I agree with the reader from Uniontown PA [about the coverart. The only character that even looked decent was Bishop. Unlessyou're a big Juggernaut fan or just want to be able to say 'I readevery X-Men novel wriiten', I would recomend you pass on buying thisbook. Save your money and rent it from a library if you really want toread it.

An interesting piece of novel done by Dean Wesley Smith. Very imaginative and powerfully addictive. In just less than one day i spent a serene afternoon reading this wonderful novel amazed at the beautifully written comic literature. A joy to read, a story to be unforgettable, this book is a best by for me!

This is one of the worst X-Men novels I have ever read, and I would suggest you not buy it unless you need it for your collection. The story was boring and slow. Many of the X-Men were out of character. Some showed unexpectedly weak personalities in the story. The ending was predictable and none of the characters changed or had much resolved. Overall, I wish I had not wasted my time on this.

This book was a favorite of my father-in-law who passed away. As a legacy to his/our church his children donated many of these books to be given to anyone who wished to have a "Quiet Moment with God". The daily readings are thought provoking, inspirational and up lifting. A nice way to start, end or embelish your day!

I have had this devotional for several years now, and it is one I recommend to new Christians. I have given it away to many people who have responded that they enjoy it as much as I do. It just seems to have just the right prayers, with scripture to stand in faith on.

Lloyd J. Ogilvie's book Quiet Moments With God is a wonderful daily read as it leads you into prayer and your daily talk with God. Only his book God's Best For my Life speaks to the reader as well. Both books can to read over and over and something new is open to the reader each time.

This is a wonderful little devotional. I bought it because I'm an avid tea drinker and love taking a little retreat for myself with a cup of tea. I have found that by using this devotional and inviting the Lord to take part, I come away with a refreshed soul and a deeper love for God.

I have read a number of Joseph Murphy's books. His approach to positive thinking is quite understandable and very reasonable. I also enjoy reading all his examples of people who succeed using his methods, so when I saw that Quiet Moments with God did not have examples but was mainly a series of affirmations (although very good ones), I put it aside to read later. Well, something very odd just happened. It is the sort of thing that usually is chalked up to coincidence. During my lunch hour I read a few pages of Quiet Moments with God. Then I returned to work. Someone had made a request that I was unable to fulfill; suddenly the answer to this person's problem popped into my head and, sure enough, that was what this person needed. Again, this may seem like a coincidence, but these things always do. That is why we ignore them. I am convinced, though, that Dr. Murphy is accurate in his approach. I am so convinced, in fact, that I tackled another problem for someone that was previously unsolvable and that, too, magically was solved. I would recommend Dr. Murphy's books to anyone who wants to get things done.

I can say about this book what I could not say about any other: it has been the source of my guidance in day to day life. It is beyond regular self help literature. Its message takes roots in one's inside so that changes in actions take place not due to one's will power but, instead, unconsciously. I would highly reccomend it to every and any body.

I received this as a gift from a friend, and it is by far the best devotional I've read. Like the previous reviewer, I am a stay-at-home mom. I have a very energetic, strong-willed 3-year old boy. Life is non-stop and hectic, so I don't have much time to read long, complicated devotionals that take a lot of time. These are all quick but very impactful daily devotionals that are very deep and meaningful, despite their brevity. I apply them to every area of my life, and it is always just the thing I need for that particular day. Sometimes, I'll go back and re-read one that applies to a specific challenge I may be facing. This is one book I will keep with me always.
