Helpful, but made for 3.0 not 3.5.......2006-01-10
Our group really liked these sheets, but we didn't realize that they were printed for use with D&D 3.0 materials. Some of the features on these pages we preferred, like the orientation of information. Unfortunately, these sheets don't include (among other things) all the same skills as D&D 3.5 edition (some changed between the two releases) and also don't include charts for Fortitude, Will and Reflex saving throws, etc.
There are sheets for multi-class characters, companion animals and lists of class-specific spells for the 3.0 edition game. The latter are great for keeping track of spells known. Much easier to read, usually, than one's own -- or another player's -- handwriting.
If you're playing 3.0 I think these are great. You can only find them from independent sellers, which usually keeps the cost below the original selling price. The sheet size is perfect for either a xerox machine or to copy at home from a multi-function printing device.
If you're playing D&D 3.5 go check out the Deluxe Character Sheets. If you're looking for something extra those should do the trick. If you're playing 3.0, give these a try.
Obsolete Product.......2003-08-26
These class-specific character sheets used to be the fairly useful. However, changes in the 3.5 edition of the game make these sheets obsolete.
Rather [weak].......2003-05-15
Honestly, you can find better character sheets for free out on the web, made by fans. This product just basically gives you customized character sheets for each class, with the class already filled in, and all the class skills already checkmarked, and I believe the hit dies were already filled in too. Oh, there is a blank sheet included as well for the multi-class characters. The 32 sheets or so in this product aren't even going to get you started, especially when so many of them are unusable because they're a class that you never play. The sheets are all in black and white, and the paper stock isn't really anything fancier than regular copier paper.
All in all, give this thing a pass. Print out something from the web and go somewhere to take a bunch of copies. You'll be much happier and get a better value for money.

After saving up for a month or so, I purchased the Player's Handbook, DM Guide, Monster Manual, and these character sheets. Three out of the four were worth the cost.
These character sheets are a simple repetition of information readily available elsewhere, they aren't sturdily made, and they don't have nearly enough room for your stats.
If you really want to keep good record of a character, try Green Ronin's Character Record Folio. It's well worth the price.
Another way for Wizards to make money.......2002-12-22
This is the most useless product Wizards of the COast have ever released. Don't people realise that you can actually download excellent character sheets *free*, yes, free off the internet. That's a lot cheaper and easier than paying "money" for these character sheets.
Okay, they look nice. Yay! But I don't ever plan to buy these. Save your money and buy something good for your campaign, like the Greyhawk Gazetteer.

Pretty Good, but not perfect.......2000-05-19
Overall I like them, The fact that you can photocopy them legally is a plus. The sheets themselves are pretty good. They come with space for pretty much anything you could want to record. So what's wrong with them? They're incredibly hard to remove from the book without ripping somthing, I've managd to do this a few times, but it's still a pain in the neck. It would be nice if they had detachable pages.

If you need any kind of flexibility then the best idea is to get some free character sheets and then to design your own. Don't waste your money on this stuff unless you really have no intention of branching off the Basic AD&D rules

A MUST have! This book contains almost everything you need to play. Sure, you can get character sheets, but you can make your own sheets, and this book helps. If there is only one book you want to have for AD&D this is it. Definatley a must have to play.

These sheets are very handy for recording basically anything about the player characters in your game. Blanks are included for all aspects of the characters, and there is plenty of room for any miscelaneous information.
Although there are many other equally good ( and, furthermore, free) character record sheets on the nets, buy this if you like company-sanctioned materials or just want a bit more reliability.

This is product is nothing more than a way to squeeze a little more money from the pockets of die-hard Star Wars RPG fans. The character sheet is already available in PDF format for FREE from Wizards.com, (which could have easily been done with the vehicle sheet).
Bottom line. Don't waste your money. Download the PDF and print free copies.

I enjoy the new version of Star Wars and play it frequently, but I made a mistake buying these sheets. An option is to instead photocopy the one given to you in the core rules ten times. If you do that, you pretty much have this supplement.
There is a vehicle/starship sheet in here, but let's be honest, you don't like the vehicle/starship rules anyways, and are anxiously awaiting the update this December to see if they address it in any reasonable fashion.

The sheets for droids, starships and vehicles are nice, but 10 copies of the SAME character sheet?! C'mon!! Why do we need multiple copies if permission is given to photocopy? I think WotC could have spent a little more time on this and produced a separate character sheet for each class (like with D&D 3E).

Yeah, the sheets allowed me to not have to try to copy the page out of the core rulebook, but how about some variation with sheets made specifically for each character class. At about a dollar a page, that's pretty stiff just for copies. The vehicle/starship sheets are nice, but certainly not worth the money.

These Character sheets are very crisp and have amazing detail. They are great for groups of RPGers and allow for easy photocoyping. The sheets are the same in the Core Book, but this provides the Gamer the chance to make several characters and to experiment with them without having to make many copies. They are a great buy and I recommend for serious gamers to buy more than one.

The ability to go into trance to improve one's health, emotional state, spiritual state is part of our human birthright. Do yourself a favor and get this book that explains how one's brain waves and pulse change when one goes into trance.
Clear, simple instructions are given on how to assume and use certain postures that have been used by humankind for as long as 30,000 years as a means of enhancing experience and discovering about the Self and the World. Entering a trance is aided by an impelling, steady sound like drumming or rattling.
This book is a text that helps us expand what it means to be a human being practicing life skills and dancing joyfully through our days. I heartily recommend this book. D.Wilshire
shamanic "asana" handbook..........2003-11-15
The book contains enough different positions based on historical objects found within shamanic cultures, to keep you busy working for a long, long time...particular considering that reaching any depth with one particular position may take a lot of work.
Yes, as mentioned in another review, it is suggested that these positions be used while someone is drumming or rattling for you...or while using a CD and headset (the neighbors are less likely to call the cops), but it would be nice to have had a little more discussion about the use of medicine plants with the various positions...as probably that was one of the traditional "triggers" to begin with. Perhaps the author just wanted to keep away from the political/legal problems in that.
If you're serious about doing shamanic work, and want to "do" rather than just read about someones "cool visions"...this makes an excellent handbook.
The illustrations aren't terrible or anything...certainly they're sufficient, but it would have been a tad better if some of them were a little clearer/detailed...particularly the illustrations of original artifacts.

I would give the book a 5/5 only if it was enough to get one into Trance ....unfortunately for me, I found out later from the book that the trance postures are effective only with the use of special musical drumming/rattling....in other words buying this book alone will not get u into trance....the drumming/rattling(210 beats/minute)is used to create a Theta brainwave frequency, that is absolutelty essentail for any posture to work....
almost a perfect 10 if it only came with a drumming CD...
my advice is:
"Ecstatic Body Postures+ Drumming CD=Successful Trance"
(Drumming To Journey By Kay Cordell Whitaker , is good CD that should get you started)....enjoy the ride... ;).....

This is a very interesting description of an apparently simple but effective practice of using body positions from art work around the world. I found the use of the postures to be helpful in evaluating both my inner world and everyday life experiences. I highly recommend the book to all that are interested in stretching the understanding of their relationship to the world we live in.

This book gives information on how to use certain body postures that were found in different cultures. It's based on the fasinating idea that certain artifacts were made to preserve instructions on how to enter a trance. The author gives descriptions and pictures of how to place yourself in these postures which are simple and not like a game of twister. There are different postures that cover divination, shapeshifting, spirit journeys,and more. It's everything I've wanted to practice as an occult student and without religion attached to it. BUY THE BOOK YOU WON'T BE SORRY.
