An Expose of the Most Secret Society in the World

Incredible yet true!!!!!.......2002-09-04
I have met John Coleman and I can say intuitively that what he writes is true! I have met enough people in my life that confirm whatever he writes in this book to be so.
It has opened my eyes which are now forever watchful and can discern what the so called media says to be able to judge whether something is true or not (mostly not).
Thank you John Coleman, yours is one of my favorite books that I will forever tresure and fall back on whenever there is another such incident as 911, then I will go back and check the facts to make sure whether the background is what it seems to be or whether it is false.
You Owe It To Yourself..........2001-02-27
From time to time, the FEELING that something in this World is not quite right begins to surface. If you are reading this, then you are experiencing that which I am referring to. Allow the SUPPRESSED Wisdom within to come forth into your Consciousness. You KNOW that all is not what we are told it is. You KNOW that some Key to Life has DELIBERATELY been hidden.
To assist this process of Self-Illumination, reading and ABSORBING the Committe of 300 will awaken lost memories of who you really are, and why you are here. This book can be a REAL catalyst for change for yourself, as page by page you re-discover how we are DECEIVED,CONDITIONED, and taken away from our Divinity.
You do indeed owe it to yourself to be FREE...
A MUST READ!!!.......2001-02-08
After I finished reading this book I just had to tell my friends about it. This book is full of very interesting information concerning how major government organizations are linked up into the British Royal Secret Society. Dr. Coleman explains M16, Royal Institute For International Affairs, Trilateral Commission, Dr. Aurellio Peccei and the Club of Rome and many other organizations whose goal is to establish a sinister "one world government". The main reason why I read this book is because it mentions Tavistock, an institution designed to brainwash the masses. This took effect in the 60s when the Beatles and the advent of Rock 'n' Roll were brought to this country in an attempt to degrade American culture. The book also answers a lot of questions I've always had, especially about the era in U.S. history when Chinese workers were brought here to work on the railroads in the 1800s, this was an attempt to bring opium in to drug America, like the British did to China. This book leaves me with more questions I want answered, for instance, in what way were the Black Panthers controlled by the Institute For Policy Studies (IPS)? Were the Mau Mau of Kenya controlled by a former member of the IRA PROVISIONALS? In all this is an excellent book. A must read!
Interesting, but lacking in documentation. Has some errors........2000-10-10
This book is a fascinating read, but isn't a good source of factual information. The author makes several statements that can be easily confirmed as false. He may be right about the possibility of a group of 300, but he doesn't provide enough convincing evidence. He hurts his own credibility somewhat.
There are other books on this subject, that are much better documented and more reliable. "The Naked Capitalist," by Dr. W. Cleon Skousen is one such book.
Makes the National Enquirer look like the New York Times.......2000-10-01
You remember in the 10th grade when your English teacher said you needed to back up your opinions, however fervently believed, with evidence? Well, Mr. Coleman was absent that day. (Docked one star - a very gracious star at that - for his writing "style", a frothy, chaotic, incoherent mess. And for ignoring hard evidence to the contrary that the Beatles wrote their own music - Mr. Coleman claims someone named Theo Adorno did it, you guessed it, to brainwash America's youth.....

Product Description
This is the story of two Confederate spies, Tom Harbin and Charlie Russell. Harbin, among the most wanted of all Confederate agents, was also one of the leaders in the plot to kill Abraham Lincoln. It was Harbin who left a getaway horse for Booth outside Ford's Theatre, and Harbin who helped Booth escape across the Potomac. For a time there was a big price on Harbin's head, but he was never arrested. Tradition holds that he went into hiding, perhaps in Cuba or England, but this book demonstrates that he was again openly living and working in D.C. at least as early as 1866. The other half of this book presents a new Confederate spy: Tom Harbin's step-cousin Charlie Russell, a man who never talked and never left a paper trail. It was only while the author was conducting genealogical research into the Russell family of Clarksville, Virginia, that he stumbled across Russell's activities during the Civil War. Here the author presents a welter of evidence to suggest that Russell, too, played a part in the dramatic history of Confederate espionage. Enhancing the life stories of both these men is detailed information on their genealogy and the lives of their forebears and descendants, many of whom were prominent in the history and society of Washington, D.C.
Customer Reviews:
A unique and strongly recommended addition.......2007-03-06
Tom Harbin and Charlie Russell were two southern spies during the American civil war and through their involvement in the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, became the most wanted Confederate agents of that conflict. In "Confederate Spies At Large: The Lives Of Lincoln Assassination Conspirator Tom Harbin and Charlie Russell" by John Stewart provides a fascinating account of these two men, their activities in behalf of the Confederacy, their genealogy, and their contribution to the killing of an American president. "Confederate Spies At Large" is a unique and strongly recommended addition to personal, academic, or community library Civil War reference collections and reading lists.
Book Description
All the Conspirators, now available in the United States for the first time since Carlos Bulosan wrote the novel over fifty years ago, provides a vivid portrait of postwar Philippines that retains its timeliness and its power to disturb.
In this mystery thriller set at the end of World War II, American Gar Stanley returns to his native Philippines in order to help his childhood sweetheart locate her missing husband, Clem, who mysteriously disappeared during an ambush by Japanese troops. With Clem's ring as the only clue, Gar moves from the streets of Manila to the mountains of Baguio, from mansions to hovels, bordellos to churches, posh nightclubs to Igorot huts. He pursues and is pursued by bankers and hoboes, warriors and thugs, matrons and nightclub singers. Gar quickly realizes that in this war-ravaged country, no one is who they seem, and he must struggle to stay one step ahead of the conspirators before they silence his friend and destroy those who uncover their secrets.
Customer Reviews:
A Nuanced Mystery Thriller from the 50s.......2006-07-30
On the surface Carlos Bulosan's ALL THE CONSPIRATORS is an entertaining mystery, especially as a period piece from the immediate post-WWII era. What makes the story all the more interesting are its myriad nuances. In the first place, there is the author Bulosan himself, a Philippine immigrant to the US in the 1930s whose residence began and ended in Seattle in 1956. Best known for his autobiographical AMERICA IS IN THE HEART [1946], he primarily wrote and published poetry, as well as stories that appeared in American periodicals like THE NEW YORKER and THE SATURDAY EVENING POST. He also spent time working for the International Longshoremen's and Warehousemen's Union [ILWU] Local 37, by the early Fifties the predominantly Filipino union of salmon cannery workers operating out of Seattle. [See, Chris Friday, ORGANIZING ASIAN AMERICAN LABOR: THE PACIFIC COAST CANNED SALMON INDUSTRY, 1870-1942 (1994)].
Somewhat ironically, Bulosan's fascination with American culture and politics radicalized him as he confronted America's racism and neocolonialism. This radicalization eventually led to Bulosan's second novel, THE CRY AND THE DEDICATION [not published in the US until 1994] about the Huk movement in the Philippines. [See, Benedict J. Tria Kerkvliet, THE HUK REBELLION: A STUDY OF PEASANT REVOLT IN THE PHILIPPINES (2ND ED., 2002)]. Both this radicalization and his association with the West Coast longshoremen's union during their communist phase in the McCarthy Era kept ALL THE CONSPIRATORS from finding a publisher until this University of Washington Press edition in 1998. Bulosan had written the story in hopes of an eventual Hollywood contract. He was convinced his politics blackballed his efforts to find a taker, like many other artists during Hollywood's Blackball Era.
The story itself is nuanced because it's Bulosan's, in spite of its limited objective as a potential Hollywood thriller. In the first place the story's narrator and protagonist Gar Stanley is an American, although one born in the Philippines, where his family ran a gold mine in the pre-war American Commonwealth. Gar is also the typical ex-GI prodigal son of many late 40s, early 50s mysteries. [See, for example, Bruce Marrow in Guy Emery, FRONT FOR MURDER (1947)]. Bulosan's understanding of American culture and skill as a writer make Stanley very American. [The average reader picking up the novel without knowing its background would not suspect its authorship.] This American is then placed in the immediate post-war Philippines still struggling from the devastating Japanese occupation.
The story revolves around Gar's search for his friend Clem Mayo, another Philippine-born American who had escaped the Bataan Death March to lead guerillas against the Japanese until betrayed and killed. Clem, however, had recently been reported as having been seen alive. Gar finds himself in a Philippines he both knows and loves, but also one that has drastically changed, making him a self-conscious prodigal. The Japanese occupation had created deep divisions within Philippine society between those who resisted and those who collaborated with the invaders - the conspirators. The conspirators seek to cover-up their collaboration AND to maintain their ill-begotten wealth. Stanley is drawn to the small people who resisted. One can well imagine him shortly becoming a Huk.
Written like film noir...........2002-02-05
I was looking for America is in the Heart but found this one instead at my local bookstore, and I don't regret it. All the Conspirators was written sometime around the late 40s, and has not been reprinted until this edition published just a couple of years ago.
Right after WWII, a war-jaded Philippine-born American Gar Stanley receives a ring from his best friend Clem Mayo's wife Candy. Everyone had thought Clem to be dead, until Candy had spotted the ring at a local trinket shop. She asks Gar to trace Clem...find out if he's still alive. (Tough for Gar to do, considering Candy and he'd had a thing going before he'd shipped out for the US war effort in North Africa and left Candy behind, to marry his best friend.) The quest for Clem takes us from war-ravaged Manila's girlie joints, sumptuous parties of rich Filipino families that had collaborated with the Japanese, rinky-dink alleys where throat-slitting incidents regularly occur, to a plantation house guarded by thugs named Bruiser and Killer and situated on a volcano island, then deep into tribal jungles where former guerilla resistance units have created a world of their own and where they mull their days trying to reclaim justice against politically ensconced collaborators in Manila.
Classic film noir elements abound: the femme fatale, the homecoming soldier displaced in the world he fought for and blind to the real persons behind misleading appearances. Some added layers: the displacement of the hero not only as homecoming soldier but as American torn between his fatherland and his birthplace (the Philippines), the alienation among Filipinos after the war divided them into the resistance fighters and the collaborators, and the ensuing cover-up AND adoption of collaborators into institutionalized politics. Reading this novella gives one an indication the seeds of corruption had been planted way before Ferdinand Marcos...the rot comes from within, as Filipino national hero Jose Rizal had pointed out a hundred years ago.
For all this--and despite the conventions it followed at the time it was written--the novella feels contemporary and remains hard-hitting.

Book Description
With commentary by Terry Alford, Burrus Carnahan, Joan L. Chaconis, Percy Martin, Betty Ownsbey, Edward Steers Jr., Thomas R. Turner, and Laurie Verge
On April 14, 1865, John Wilkes Booth assassinated President Abraham Lincoln. By April 26, eight of the ten people eventually charged as accomplices in Lincoln's murder were in custody. Booth was killed resisting capture and John Surratt was in Canada, his whereabouts unknown to Federal authorities.
In the days that followed, President Johnson issued an Executive Order directing that the persons charged with Lincoln's murder stand trial before a military tribunal. During the fifty-day trial, over three hundred and sixty witnesses gave testimony. Benn Pitman, a recognized expert in the art of phonography (an early form of shorthand), was awarded a government contract to produce a true and accurate transcription of the testimony. Working with four assistants, Pitman produced transcripts that served the general public through daily releases to select members of the press as well as to the prosecution and the defense. Pitman was given the right to publish the transcriptions for public sale, and he skillfully winnowed the 4,300 pages of transcription into a single 421-page volume. Copies of the original 1865 edition, as well as subsequent reprints, are exceedingly rare. Here for the first time, leading experts in the field lend their insight in a series of commentaries that complement Pitman's published transcriptincluded here in its entiretyexposing various perjuries, explaining testimony that has escaped scholarly attention, and clarifying the events surrounding the assassination as never before.
Customer Reviews:
A valuable resource.......2007-06-29
In this much-needed reprinting of Benn Pitman's transcript of the trial of the "conspirators" to assassinate President Lincoln, a new element has been added in the articles in the front. Although the trial itself remains, unfortunately, unannotated, a variety of top scholars in the field contributed articles on the conspirators and the trial itself which are both helpful & interesting. This is certainly one of the best purchases I have ever made. The list of witnesses that make Pitman the preferred version of the trial, and the charming print style left as-is, make for an enjoyable read or for helpful reference material. However, it should be kept in mind that Pitman's version is an edited copy of the original trial, with the dialogue surrounding each witness reduced to monolouge testimony, and some confusing areas eliminated or altered. Nonetheless, this is a valuable resource.
I would recommend accompanying this book with Carmen Cumming's Devil's Game: The Civil War Intrigues of Charles A. Dunham, which helps the reader understand the confusing testimony of Sanford Conover, the alias of Charles Dunham.
The best reading on this subject I have seen so far........2003-08-22
In 1865 President Lincoln was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth, this is commonly known by most people. But what is not known is that there were eight others who had a part in the conspiracy to kill the president.
Unlike the other books I have read on the subject; this one has very little plot, in fact the book spends more time talking about the trial rather than the events leading to the assassination. Rather the author has put together the actual court transcripts of the testimony against each of the conspirators.
After reading the text, which took about 5 hours, I learned more about those involved and even found out a few new things along the way. I found the discussion about Dr. Mudd so intriguing I spent several hours on the internet reading about him.
I found the book well documented and researched. The author has certainly seemed to leave no stone unturned. Overall this book is the best overall presentation into the murder and conspiracy I have read so far.
If you are looking for serious information about the Lincoln Assassination or just wondering what happened than this book is the place to start looking.

Spoonfed critics.......2006-02-04
This book is fantastic! There is so much going on inside this book, you almost need to chart it, and maybe you should if you have an interest in these subjects. Sure many things seem untenable as they don't fit into our little world concept of should be's, but the unimaginable is only a limit for those who cannot openly think.
Although we all have a right to our opinions, I wish more people would research and connect ideas, thoughts and facts rather than espouse what they have been told or not researched themselves.
I blame Halliburton..........2005-10-06
Nothing more than paranoid conspiracy theorist ramblings. Poorly written, providing no verifiable supporting evidence. If this vast conspiracy reached so far and resulted in the "accidental deaths" of so many people who knew too much, then how exactly was Al Martin able to write and publish this book without ending up in a shallow grave next to Jimmy Hoffa?
The Conspirators.......2005-08-12
This book is a sensationalized report of the Iran-contra affairs. Its author seeks to shock the reader of the government's misconduct. There is very little historical, methodical, or academic virtue to this book. It's for sheer shock and awe, which can easily be taken from serious book like Theodor Draper's A Very Thin Line.
A MUST READ for those who care about democracy!!.......2004-07-11
The Conspirators by Al Martin was ranked #1 by myself in my Lone Nutter News e-zine. I have reviewed dozens and dozens of conspiracy books over the years and this one tops the list for the obvious reason that Al Martin has the courage to name the names behind some of the most corrupt cabals imaginable. Disgusting yet a MUST READ for any one who cares about democracy, our constitutional rights not to mention human dignity as well.
Read it for yourself to discover why I ranked it NUMBER ONE!

Exposing fraud, corruption, government-sanctioned narcotics trafficking, illegal weapons deals, and much more, The Conspirators does not hesitate to name its accused in its cry for justice. A shocking expose written by an insider to government misdeeds and wrongdoing.

True Colours is a book full of strong women that face many adversities and some are faced with struggles that they will never be able to overcome. TJ Meridian is a woman that is battling not only a town that is sure she is like her father (S.O.B Meridian) but her own demons. TJ struggles with tragedies that have made her the woman she is today. Uniquely refreshing.......2006-07-24
I've read Nann Dunne before, but the collaboration with Karen Surtees has turned out a uniquely refreshing outlook on relationships.
It was interesting to see the dynamics between TJ Meridian, Mare Gillespie and the folks living in Meridian, TX. How hate can turn to trust? How confrontation can turn into love? How friends stick together no matter what?
Refreshing read with many eye openers on how life should be.
I've already ordered my copy of "Many Roads to Travel.
Wonderful romance and intense drama.......2005-10-10
I very unique story that is beautifully written. I started this novel one afternoon and couldn't put it down until finished. It is a real page turner and the words flow as you become engrossed in the characters lives. Excellent secondary characters bring the story to life. I totally agree with Dyamond's revirew below.
I can't wait to read the sequel "Many Roads to Travel' when it is re-released in 2006.
this is from the publishers website and it appears it will be re-issued in 2006
TJ Meridian, crippled in an attack on her and her brother, returns to Meridianville, Texas, a small town that her father all but destroyed ten years ago when he closed his ranch and meatpacking plant. Intending to right the wrongs, TJ, with the help of two friends, proposes to bring prosperity back to the area by restocking the ranch and modernizing the packing plant. When TJ's prized horse becomes ill, a local veterinarian is called to treat the animal. The vet, Dr. Mare Gillespie, has lived in Meridianville for the past ten years and has seen the poverty caused by Thomas Meridian's withdrawal from the area. Like most of the native residents, she harbors a great dislike for the family, yet she and TJ are each intrigued by the other woman and a relationship develops. Together they discover love and friendship that endures through personal misunderstandings, a night attack on the ranch, and an ecological disaster that could destroy the town and surrounding lands. Culminating in a life-threatening accident that requires some hard decisions, True Colours is the exploration of hope and love and one woman's struggle to clear her name.
