Product Description

I'm rich beyond my wildest dreams, I am, I am, Iam.......2007-09-23
This book has given me an insight to how the universe works, it's easy to follow and understand and explains why and how to make it work!
Brilliant!!
Fascinating!.......2007-09-12
Somehow I knew by my earliest childhood that the whole life works under the same princip. Simply, it had to be the truth, and finally now, at the age of fifty I'm exploring fascinating story from the opposite side of the world!
Like a ferry tale. So, I allready believe. Who knows where I will be guided to, after I apply these technics in my life?
Best Book on how to attract Abundance into your life.......2007-08-01
I have read many long winded books on how to make your life rich and abundant. This is a short book and gets quickley to the point.
Simple to read and explains very clearly the steps you need to take. Tom Pauley's amusing little stories give his book, great credibility.
I would heartily recommend it.
Great, but could have been better!.......2007-07-11
I liked this book a lot, and it was very interesting. I especially liked the "assignment" of buying a .79 cent spiral notebook, and creating the lists of what you want in life. I still use the notebook, and refer to it often keeping it updated. The book could have been MUCH better, but sadly, the authors use it to pitch their $2,500 Quantum Selling and Quantum Marketing seminars!
Tithing--what it really means.......2007-06-12
Emmett Fox talks about tithing as giving a tenth of your joy, happiness, positive emotions, etc. to God. He suggests giving what you can, when you feel moved to do so. That sounds like a lot better way to view tithing, to me. God doesn't need your money--and this book even says not to ask the Universe for money.
I think some of this is a good exercise, but there are better sources for the same information, but everyone learns in different ways. I think Neville Goddard is better, in terms of explaining the deeper aspects of the Law of Attraction. Emmett Fox is more appealing to me. But, as a starter on this type of work, this book is OK.

Beautiful 17-year-old Celeste Milford is only the gardener's daughter, but she falls madly in love with the younger brother of the very rich and powerful Garrick Throckmorton the Third. Lady Bucknell, proprietress of the Distinguished Academy of Governesses and a family friend, assesses the hopeless situation and graciously offers to enroll and train Celeste as a governess at her academy. So Celeste leaves for London and Paris, protesting loudly.
Four years later, Celeste returns to Blythe Hall a poised, well-traveled, independent woman experienced with the intrigues of politics after a stint as governess to the children of the Russian ambassador. Hired by Garrick to be governess to his motherless daughter and niece, Celeste has a not-so-hidden agenda, for she plans to charm Ellery Throckmorton away from his fiancé. Garrick has no intention of letting Celeste's plans come to fruition and sets out to monopolize her time and seduce her away from thoughts of Ellery. Much to his surprise, Celeste enchants him, fills him with lust, and destroys his famous self-control. Celeste is equally stunned to find herself drawn to Garrick--and she begins to see Ellery in a less flattering light. But Garrick doesn't believe in love, and when Celeste's appeal threatens to overwhelm him, he's determined to send her back to Paris. Before he can do so, however, he'll have to resolve the question of who's leaking information about his spy activities. Could it be Celeste? And just how does she know so much about spying, anyway?
In My Wildest Dreams is author Christina Dodd's historical homage to the classic film Sabrina. Dodd gives the story a unique twist with a heroine more sophisticated and wise than Sabrina and a hero more forceful than scheming. Readers also get witty dialogue, a colorful English setting, and very sexy love scenes in this well-written and thoroughly delightful romance. --Lois Faye Dyer
Book Description
Since she was a little girl, Celeste has had one burning desire:to marry Ellery Throckmorton. But what chance does a gardener's daughter have of capturing the heart of one of England's wealthiest gentlemen? However, the education she receives at the Distinguished Academy of Governesses enables Celeste to return to Blythe Hall with a refinement that complements her ravishing beauty—and makes her bold romantic dream more attainable. But, alas, temptation gets in the way . . .
For wherever Celeste turns, it is not Ellery she encounters, but his serious, yet undeniably intriguing, older brother Garrick. The elder Throckmorton will have no one interfere with the younger's impending nuptials, and his meddling infuriates Celeste to no end. Still, she cannot disregard the fluttering of her heart whenever Garrick deigns to smile at her. And the passion she senses smoldering beneath his formidable control is tempting her in a manner a lady must never allow . . .

Is Rape Romantic??.......2007-09-17
I have never written a review before but absolutely had to for this book. I'd read all the "Sabrina" comments and didn't think that would bother me. It did! It was WAY to close to the movie in the beginning of the story. THAT I could get over - after she stopped following the movie scene for scene. What I couldn't get over was the SICK sex scene in the conservatory. It read like a sexual assault to me, and clearly out of character for Garrick and the storyline. What got him so enraged he would attack her sexually and continue to do so even after her repeated "NO's"?!! That her "body betrayed her" was supposed to excuse all that and make this scene romantic???
I'd hoped this would be an enjoyable read but instead had me lose much respect for this author and taint the regency genre.
In My Wildest Dreams.......2007-02-03
Very very disappointed in Christina for plagiarizing the movie Sabrina. I liked the movie (both of them). When I read a book I want to vision my own characters or from the cover, I don't want to vision the characters in a movie. If I could give her negative stars I would have given her a negative-[...] It must have taken her an hour to compose this book - search and replace names and a few minor edits from the movie script. DONOT BUY THIS BOOK!
Tsk, Tsk, Ms. Dodd.......2006-03-03
While her writing is superb, as usual, thus making her one of the best of the Romance writers,it is a no-no to so obviously recycle plots. This plot is a direct steal from "Sabrina" a wonderful movie (1954)starring Audrey Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart and William Holden. Unfortunately, this version does not compare favorably.
Sweetly Sensational.......2005-12-17
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I read it in two days! I haven't been into the Governess series since the Rules of Surrender (which is Dodd's best by far) and picked this book up cos it was on sale. I'm so glad I did! The story is a bit droll at first, but still filled with humour and semi-realistic plot development. Garrick is a strong character and not at all romantic in the conventional way, but still desirable.
And the love scene(s), steamy! The best I've read by Dodd, delicious and had me fanning my face!! I rather like a brooding, responsible, muscular male, more so then the dandies. Garrick is just the perfect mate for Celeste, who honestly ticked me off in her obsession of Ellery. Speaking of Ellery, I wanted to slap him whenever I read about Kiki, but as the story progressed I sort of imagines he feels something like most young fathers feel these days, at a lost.
I'll stop here, since this is pretty long. The only reason I held back on the fifth star is because I could have done without the whole espionage bit.
Wish I had read the reviews first!!!!!!!!!!!!.......2005-11-29
Red ALert!!! Sabrina re-write ahead. If you want to read "Sabrina" after seeing the movie go ahead. I was so disappointed. Did the author get sued for plagarism??? I usually love Ms Dodd's work - so I just bought the book. I couldn't even finish it. I have been wary about the Governess Brides series. Now I don't think I will read any.

Some useful info, but not enough.......2002-10-14
Gail Blanke's "In My Wildest Dreams" offers some good advice for brainstorming and planning a career that suits your passions, but not enough to earn it a place among classic career counseling books like "What Color is My Parachute" and "Do What You Are." I felt galvanized after I read it, but was struck that much of the ideas and advice had a familiar ring to them, and several I had tried before.
The book is designed like a seminar, with fictionalized participants taking the steps and responding as they would. I found this style choice effective but a little labored. The advice will be familiar to many: pinpoint your passion, brainstorm ideas of how to transfer your ruling passion into a career of your own design, and build a network to launch from. There is a chapter on specific goal setting, where Blanke likens goals to a mountaintop, with specific actions leading up the pinnacle. Her ball-of-fire personality comes through in her writing -- I'm sure her seminars are great.
A decent career building tool -- effective without being groundbreaking.
Go for your dreams.......2000-06-23
Awesome book. I have read it twice to make sure I didn't miss anything. I was so impressed by this book based on the workshops Gail Blanke's Lifedesigns company does. After reading the book I wanted to go to one of these workshops. There weren't any scheduled in my area, so I called Lifedesigns. They have now scheduled one in NC and I can't wait to experience this book in real life. If you have dreams-read this book and do the exercises.
Great book for moving forward in your life's journey.......1999-10-23
I have read a number of "self help" books and this one was incredibly solid and practical while making me understand that my wildest dreams are possible. Incredible!!
ABSOLUTELY Fantastic!!!!.......1999-06-25
This book, and the conference I attended after reading the book, CHANGED MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!! I've literally purchased at least a dozen copies and given them away to women... I want everyone to know this kind of freedom.
My husband and children respect me so much MORE because now I'm being true to myself and everyone else.... it's incredible.
Helpful, but hardly unique.......1998-12-17
To me, the best part of this book was Blanke's discussion of how the language we use often limits us, and how reframing the way we state something can open up new possibilities we hadn't thought of before. (I realized that, uncongenial as my mother's "change is bad" perspective always was to me, I still picked up her tendency to shoot down a new idea without taking seriously -- which has caused me to be seen as a nay-sayer and a pessimist at work.) She's also good on the subject of "unfinished business" -- her recommendation to throw out 50 things was a real eye-opener for me. And I felt that her remarks on how to convert disbelievers into allies were pertinent and useful. Her use of material from actual "Lifedesigns" groups gave her examples a convincing grounding in reality. But I didn't find much in the exercises or their interpretation that I hadn't seen somewhere else already. The book is still worth reading for the reasons I've mentioned, but if you're REALLY interested in rethinking your life I recommend Barbara Sher's books instead.
Book Description
Join the author on a humanitarian pilgrimage to war-torn Bosnia, drawn by an irresistable calling to visit the site of the alleged apparitions of the "Blessed Virgin Mary". What transpires should convince even the most hardened of skeptics that God does hear and answer prayers.
Customer Reviews:
Awesome.......2006-10-18
This book was great. It's a real-life story of a former Marine who risked his life to deliver medical supplies to Bosnia during the war. During his 18 trips over there he stayed in Medjugorje where apparitions of the Blessed Mother were occurring. While there, the author and his group stayed with one of the visionaries. Great reading about how humanity still exists in this world today.

love it!.......2006-02-21
I had to write a review since the other review was by someone who states she didn't even read the book. I got this book from my grandmother, then my mom, when I was 16 years old. I am now 31 and have been reading this book once a year since I got it. Ellen Tanner Marsh wraps a tale so well that you live the story, not just read it. I absolutely love this book. It is deeply romantic and deeply informative. I feel like I've been to England and France. I feel like I've seen the outcomes of battles, splendor of the ballrooms, the staleness of the two room shack. This book is well worth the read and I hope other people don't miss this historical romance!
Disappointed!.......2003-06-25
"In My Wildest Dreams" portrays Rowena de Bernard, an exile from France after Napoleon's conquests, and Captain Tarquin York (Quinn for short), a British cavalry officer falling in love as he escorts her back to France. Of course there are French armies trying to kill them, so as they go through difficult times together, they are brought closer until they fall in love.
To be honest, I got all that info from the back of the book. I couldn't get past page 67. I read Ellen Tanner Marsh's "The Enchanted Prince" which I loved very much, so I made an effort to get this out of print book. Unlike "The Enchanted Prince," I found the characters unremarkable and boring. Thus, despite all the "exciting" things happening around them, I didn't care.
Don't waste your money...instead, check out "The Enchanted Prince," which was sweet and loosely based upon the fairy tale, "The Frog Prince."

Product Description
From Publishers Weekly: With this delicious, witty confection, Dodd adds another early Victorian episode to her Governess Brides series and forsakes the angst that gave her earlier Governess titles (Rules of Attraction, etc.) a bitter flavor. Widower Garrick Throckmorton is a careful man with a clear plan for the upcoming week: get his handsome, irresponsible brother, Ellery, engaged to a wealthy heiress; establish the highly accomplished new governess, Celeste, in his nursery; and uncover the mole in his spy network who is leaking English secrets to the Russians. Celeste, the most benign-seeming item on Garrick's agenda, proves to be the sharpest thorn in his side when Ellery falls for the laughing beauty. To safeguard Ellery's impending nuptials, Garrick selflessly decides to seduce Celeste, but he ends up spinning a sensuous web in which he snares himself. Spunky and self-assured, Celeste fleshes out to be a genuine romantic heroine, and Garrick's self-discovery nicely parallels her own realization that she's falling for the supposedly less handsome and more stodgy brother. Supporting characters such as Garrick's mother, an ex-spymaster herself, Celeste's dour father and Ellery's determined fiance add spicy humor to this delectable mix. (Oct.)Forecast: Reminiscent of the classic movie Sabrina, this heartwarming Victorian-era treatment will please Dodd's many fans. A three-city author tour and positive word-of-mouth will help this satisfying story sell its 550,000 first printing.Copyright 2001 Cahners Business Information, Inc.
