Book Description

Electron Correlations in Molecules and Solids bridges the gap between quantum chemistry and solid-state theory. In the first half of the text new concepts are developed for treating many-body and correlation effects, combining standard quantum chemical methods with projection techniques, Greens-function methods and Monte-Carlo techniques. The second half deals with applications of the theory to molecules, semiconductors, transition metals, heavy-fermion systems, and the new high-Tc superconducting materials.

Think! before writing a review and confusing people about cumulants, as the previous reviewer does.

Cumulants are widely used in physics and more recently also in theoretical chemistry. Their algebra is very simple, although a bit unfamiliar. Obviously, the "reviewer" Alan Mason from Round Rock, Texas has not understood that algebra. Take his first example: he is certainly right that with his choice of A one finds ¹ c. It is also true, (not pointed out by him) that c ¹ <1opA>c=0 where 1op is the unit operator. But so what! These are well known consequences of the cumulant algebra but they do not imply that any of the equations in the book are wrong. Certainly, they are not. Mason should try to familiarize himself with the Grassmann algebra which is also not a standard one. He should be even more startled. But he would fail by concluding from his surprises that "This king has no clothes".

Professor Fulde's primary purpose in this advanced monograph, as stated in the preface, is to provide a unified treatment of electron correlations in molecules and in "solids"; by the latter, he means materials such as metals in which the electrons are not well localized. The basic idea is that since the electron correlation hole is a local object, it should be possible to develop a theory that applies equally well to electron correlations in both cases.

First, let us say what is meant by electron correlation. One starts with a Hamiltonian H that describes an atomic system, say, with n electrons; H acts on a Hilbert space S. Pick a finite-dimensional subspace S_0 and apply a variational principle to minimize the expectation E = <\Phi, H \Phi> over all wavefunctions \Phi expressible as a single Slater determinant of n single-electron wavefunctions \phi_i, 1 <= i <= n. The latter can be any normalized vector in S_0; we form the Slater determinant and minimize E over all such choices of the \phi_i. This leads to the Hartree--Fock equations (2.3.13). In the limit as S_0 increases to all of S, E will decrease to a value E_{HF} called the Hartree--Fock limit. It will be greater than the true ground-state energy E_0, because the true ground-state wavefunction is a convergent sum of Slater determinants, not a single determinant. The difference E_{HF} - E_0 has an interesting physical interpretation that justifies calling it the electron correlation energy. This follows from examining the Coulomb term in the one-particle Fock equations (2.3.13) -- each electron is treated as though it interacted with the average charge distribution of the remaining electrons, whereas in fact it interacts with the actual distribution. The effect of this is to overestimate the ground state energy by allowing electrons to come too close, closer than the true Coulomb force would allow. Thus, if we haven't left out necessary terms in the Hamiltonian (such as spin-orbit coupling, relativistic effects for heavy transition metals, etc.), it is natural to attribute the difference E_{HF} - E_0 to this "electron correlation" effect. The correlation suppresses the likelihood of other electrons being close to a given one as compared to what the HF equations would predict, hence the term "correlation hole" and its local nature.

Electron correlation effects are of supreme importance in chemistry, because although generally small compared to the self-consistent field energies E_{SCF}, when chemical bonding occurs the difference in the correlation energy corrections is typically not small compared to the difference in the E_{SCF}. Furthermore, the correlation effects are expected to be exquisitely sensitive to the geometry of the orbitals, so we have a fascinating problem lying at the heart of chemistry.

The first four chapters give a rapid, somewhat demanding, and authoritative overview of the basic

approximation schemes (the one described above is called the independent electron approximation). The important topics, including density functional theory, are treated.

After this promising start, in Chap. 5 Prof. Fulde takes up the main business of the book -- developing a general scheme for constructing localized basis functions optimized so as to account for electron correlation. If he had succeeded in this, it would be a major contribution to the subject. But alas, I have to report that due to a disastrous mathematical oversight, his results are invalid. The smoking gun is Eq. (5.1.20); this does NOT give a well- defined inner product because it is not bilinear and cannot be made so in a consistent, well-defined way. The root of the trouble is the cumulant formula (5.1.15). Let's call the A_i there "atoms" (with respect to cumulant formation). The problem is Fulde's tacit assumption that if the operator Op is a sum of monomials in the A_i then

<\Phi_0|Op|\Phi_0>^c can be defined as the corresponding sum of the cumulants of the individual monomials. But what if this expression as a sum of monomials isn't unique? If we write Op in a different way, does the prescription give the same result? The answer is no! Cumulant formation does not respect the ordinary rules of algebra; in particular, one cannot substitute. (I give two examples below.) But in (5.1.20), A and B can be expressed in many different ways as a sum of monomials in the cumulant atoms (here H_1 and possibly H_0). Without a well-defined -- bilinear, positive-semidefinite -- inner product, the entire treatment collapses. This seems to explain the otherwise puzzling lack of references in the literature to the work of Fulde's school; for example, there are none in Vol. 93 in the Advances in Chem. Phys. series (Prigogine, Rice eds.), entitled New Methods in Computational Quantum Mechanics, nor in many other places I have looked.

Here are my examples. A is an atom for cumulant formation, and I use only the formulas ^c = and ^c = - ^2.

1) Let A be the two-by-two matrix with 0, 0 in the first column and 1, 0 in the second; with the standard unit vectors e_1 and e_2, we have A e_1=0, A e_2=e_1, and A^2 = 0. Set e = (e_1 + e_2)/sqrt(2) and define the expectation by E(Op) = . Then 0 = <0>^c is not equal to ^c = - ^2=0-(1/2)^2=-1/4. Here we have expressed zero in two different ways: as the scalar 0 and as the operator A^2, and have gotten different results.

2) Take A = diag(x, y) with x and y real roots of a polynomial \Sum_0^n c_k w^k with scalar coefficients c_k. Set E(Op) = . Then 0 = \Sum_0^n c_k A^k as an operator, but \Sum_0^n c_k ^c does not equal zero. Take, e.g., n=2, x=2, y=3; they satisfy w^2-5w+6=0. We have \Sum_0^2 c_k ^c = 6 <1>^c - 5 ^c + 1 ^c = 6 - 5 x 2 + - ^2 = 6-10+4-4=-4.

So, let readers of this book be warned!

      Book Description

The recent development of theory on electron correlation in metals is explained in detail in this book. The strongest interaction between electrons in metals is the Coulomb repulsive force. This interaction gives rise to magnetism such as the ferromagnetism in Fe, Co and Ni. This interaction also induces the metal-insulator transition called the Mott transition. Surprisingly, recent studies confirm that the repulsive interaction is the origin of high temperature superconductivity in copper-oxide systems. Moreover, the number of new superconducting systems due to the electron correlation are rapidly increasing.

        Book Description

The phenomenon of localization of the electronic wave function in a random medium can be regarded as the key manifestation of quantum coherence in a condensed matter system. As one of the most remarkable phenomena in condensed matter physics discovered in the 20th century, the localization problem is an indispensable part of the theory of the quantum Hall effects and rivals superconductivity in its significance as a manifestation of quantum coherence at a macroscopic scale. The present volume, written by some of the leading experts in the field, is intended to highlight some of the recent progress in the field of localization, with particular emphasis on the effect of interactions on quantum coherence. The chapters are written in textbook style and should serve as a reliable and thorough introduction for advanced students or researchers already working in the field of mesoscopic physics.

            Book Description

This graduate/research level text introduces the theory of multi-electron transitions in atomic, molecular and optical physics, emphasizing the emerging topic of dynamic electron correlation. The book begins with an overview of simple binomial probabilities, classical scattering theory, quantum scattering and correlation, followed by the theory of single electron transition probabilities. Multiple electron transition probabilities are then treated in detail. Various approaches to multiple electron transitions are covered including the independent electron approximation, useful statistical methods and perturbation expansions treating correlation in both weak and strong limits. The dynamics of electron correlation are strongly emphasized. The text contains a comprehensive summary of data for few and many-electron transitions in atoms and molecules, including transitions on different atomic centers, fast ion-atom and electron-atom interactions, and recent observations using synchrotron radiation. Emphasis is given to methods that may be used by nonspecialists.

                Book Description

The articles collected in this book cover a wide range of materials with extraordinary superconducting and magnetic properties. For many of the materials studied, strong electronic correlations provide a link between these two phenomena which were long thought to be highly antagonistic. Both the progress in our understanding of fundamental physical processes and the advances made towards the development of devices are reported here. The materials studied come in a variety of forms and shapes from bulk to epitaxial films, nano- and heterostructures down to those involving single molecules and double quantum dots. In some cases the structuring serves the study of bulk properties. More often it is the change of these properties with nanostructuring and the properties of different materials in close proximity with each other that are of key interest because of possible application of these materials or heterostructures to quantum computing and spintronics.

                    Book Description

In 2000 the United States began accepting 3,800 refugees from one of Africa's longest civil wars. They were just some of the thousands of young men, known as "Lost Boys," who had been orphaned or otherwise separated from their families in the chaos of a brutal conflict that has ravaged Sudan since 1983. The Lost Boys of Sudan focuses on four of these refugees. Theirs, however, is a typical story, one that repeated itself wherever the Lost Boys could be found across America. Jacob Magot, Peter Anyang, Daniel Khoch, and Marko Ayii were among 150 or so Lost Boys who were resettled in Atlanta. Like most of their fellow refugees, they had never before turned on a light switch, used a kitchen appliance, or ridden in a car or subway train-much less held a job or balanced a checkbook. We relive their early excitement and disorientation, their growing despondency over fruitless job searches, adjustments they faced upon finally entering the workforce, their experiences of post-9/11 xenophobia, and their undying dreams of acquiring an education.

As we immerse ourselves in the Lost Boys' daily lives, we also get to know the social services professionals and volunteers, celebrities, community leaders, and others who guided them-with occasional detours-toward self-sufficiency. Along the way author Mark Bixler looks closely at the ins and outs of U.S. refugee policy, the politics of international aid, the history of Sudan, and the radical Islamist underpinnings of its government. America is home to more foreign-born residents than ever before; the Lost Boys have repaid that gift in full through their example of unflagging resolve, hope, and faith.

                    5 out of 5 stars Must Read.......2007-01-27

I will refrain from giving a summary of the book, as a couple of other reviewers did a nice job of that previously. I will offer a few brief impressions of this work.

Having obtained a degree in African studies in the 1990s, I was well aware of the issues facing Sudan and the history of the civil wars in the country. Many times material I read about Africa is erroneous to some degree in its reporting of events. Bixler gets things right in "The Lost Boys of Sudan." Additionally, he does a nice job of weaving historical context into the story he tells of the young men from Sudan. I was expecting a couple of introductory chapters that would serve as a mini history lesson, but Bixler chose not to go that route. Instead, he took the time to skillfully give historical context as it was merited in the story of the "Lost Boys."

The actual story of the four young men is compelling enough on the surface, but Bixler doesn't try to glorify the subjects of the book, rather he tells it like he observes it. He writes in a manner that makes for an easy read, and allows the reader to get a good picture of the lives of these men.

There are now quite a few films and books about the Lost Boys, and I strongly recommend viewing one of the DVDs on this topic either before or after you read this book. While Bixler paints a really colorful picture with his words, nothing can take the place of actually viewing the camp from which they came and the people themselves.

Of all the books I have read on this subject, Bixler's is the one I recommend the most for a person interested in the "Lost Boys." It does a great job of giving the reader a lucid account of the story of the Lost Boys in America and the circumstances from which they came.

This is a fascinating account of how orphaned Sudanese displaced in struggles with northern miltias, found new lives in the US. The volume is particularly useful because it shows the connection between wars of religion and region, the slaving expeditions conducted by janjaweed Islamic militias, and the politics of recruiting for rebel liberation movements in the south. Short on arms, money, soldiers and international sympathy, the southern Sudanese seek international attention to the problems of post-colonial boundaries and rights. They have learned to use the politics of refugee camps to leverage attention and forces. The fortitude of these survivors is amazing, no matter how complicated the story of their displacement turns out to be.

5 out of 5 stars Full review of Bixler's book.......2006-01-22

The Lost Boys of Sudan: An American Story of the Refugee Experience, by Mark Bixler. The University of Georgia Press, 2005. Pp. 261.

The alien who resides with you shall be to you as the citizen among you; you shall love the alien as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God (Leviticus 19:34)

Imagine a cluster of tall, thin Sudanese young men waiting in an airport in Washington D.C. They are all wearing the same sweatshirt. They have spent the past four or five years of their life in refugee camps in Ethiopia. This is their first time traveling by air, seeing the U.S., eating chocolate. They are separated from their parents by war or death. They seem, as Mark Bixler remarks, "to have been plucked from another era and dropped into the hustle and bustle of contemporary America" (96). They anticipate another flight to Atlanta, Georgia, where they will begin a life they have been anticipating for some time- hard work in the hopes of saving up money, passing the GRE, attending college, and making a new life.

And it just so happens that other boys like them, also from the Sudan, have been featured on the CBS program 60 Minutes II and in The New York Times Magazine. On CBS you learn that these young men are committed to hard work so they can receive an education. Bob Simon in the 60 Minutes interview asks one young man how many hours he wants to work. The answer: Sixteen hours a day. Why? The answer: I need to have money so that I can go to school. In the New York Times, we see these opening words: This is snow. This is a can opener. This is a life free from terror." These are untypical, sympathetic men entering what is for them a strange new world. As a result, there are more than your typical number of volunteers calling up refugee resettlement agencies across the country asking, "Are y'all resettling these guys?"

Not all refugee groups coming to the U.S. receive the kind of media attention the Lost Boys of Sudan have received. In fact, most refugees arrive in the U.S. without any attention at all from the press. This is not surprising. Refugees have over the course of history been a marginalized people, and their "refugee" status has not always been recognized as such. In fact, the idea of a refugee as someone who needs protection from the state did not become prevalent until early in the last century. It was not until the formation of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees that a thorough definition of who a refugee is and how they should be treated was established.

A working definition of a refugee, one embraced by the U.N. as well as U.S. refugee policy, is summarized by Mark Bixler: "[A] person who has left his or her country and cannot or does not want to return because of a credible fear of persecution based on race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a social or ethnic group" (77). "Credible fear" is a general term that in the particular can mean a host of different things. The credible fear for these young men was often a mix of ethnic and religious persecution.

Their "credible fear" is often accompanied by an incredible story. These boys, many of them Dinka cattle herders, heard or witnessed men with rifles shooting their neighbors or family. So they fled east towards Ethiopia, often walking hundreds of miles, starving and thirsty, fending off lions when they crossed deserts and alligators when they swam rivers. Finally, they arrived dazed and half-dead at refugee camps set up by the UNHCR. They lived in these camps for years, receiving some education and a bit of food, waiting to be offered shelter by the U.S. or another nation.

In addition, most of them would come to the U.S. as "unaccompanied minors"- that is, minors who are admitted as refugees without accompanying parents or adult family members. Their status as unaccompanied minors makes them doubly important in the current conversation going on about refugee rights and resettlement.

So to the book. Bixler narrates the experience of a group of four Lost Boys (p. 16-35, 111-210), examines the historical realities that make modern Sudan what it is (p. 56-74), explores the phenomenon of "selective compassion" as it influences our refugee admissions policies (p. 75-80), tells the refugee tale as seen from the perspective of those in charge of admissions (p. 81-94), and tells the refugee tale again as seen from the perspective of those who volunteer with them (p. 95-110). It concludes with a summary chapter, the status at the time of writing of the refugees and the country from which they fled.

Bixler's brief history of the development of international policies for the treatment of refugees (pages 75-80) is just one shining example of why this book should be read not only by those interested in the Lost Boys of Sudan, but by anyone interested in the American story of the refugee experience. Two recent and relatively popular books have presented the refugee experience from, respectively, a literary and sociological perspective: The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down, by Ann Fadiman; The Middle of Everywhere, by Mary Pipher. Bixler's unique contribution as a journalist is his telling of a compelling story of these brave young men that also captures the entire breadth of the refugee experience. Bixler's approach is multi-faceted, narrating not only the personal experience of some of the Lost Boys, but also examining U.S. refugee policy and the political situation in Sudan past and present.

Any adequate account of the method, means, and reasons for refugee resettlement by organizations like Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (for which I am an Ambassador and volunteer) is an adequate understanding of the situation itself. Most of us simply have an inadequate understanding of who refugees are (because they come from another place and diverse cultures), how they get here (because the governmental and social agencies involved in their settlement are themselves complex, not to mention busy processing refugees), and what needs to be done for and with them once they arrive (because it is the ever-recurring sin of second and third and sixth generation immigrants to fail to understand the immigrants and refugees who come later than themselves).

Bixler's book goes a long way towards remedying these deficiencies in our understanding. Since his book follows some of the Lost Boys through their first two years of life in the U.S., we learn not only about their initial culture shock, but also about their first jobs, their enrollment in places of learning, their search for lost family, and their common life together. Bixler also observes, often with the candor only a reporter can muster, the relationship between volunteers, relief agencies, and the Lost Boys.

As a Lutheran pastor and Ambassador for Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS), I was especially pleased to see that LIRS received positive mention by Bixler as an agency that provides exemplary care, especially for unaccompanied minors.

A story well told cannot be summarized, and this is true of Bixler's book. I cannot commend it highly enough. When I speak to church groups about the refugee experience and the ministry of LIRS, I am often at a loss how to share in a short amount of time all that is entailed in refugee resettlement. Book recommendations are my solution to that dilemma. Bixler's book is now at the top of my list.

                    4 out of 5 stars Interesting Reading.......2005-07-27

Learned a lot about the area of Sudan and trials that a refugee faces cominginto the US when not working with a host family.

                    5 out of 5 stars Great read!.......2005-06-07

The story of the Lost Boys of Sudan is like no other story ever told. It is a story about thousands of young children, particularly young boys, who became separated from their families due to the long running civil war between the North and South of Sudan. In all, these children walked over a thousand miles across the wilds of Africa in search of safe refuge. Their journey was a long and arduous one filled with suffering and horrors beyond ones imagination.
Through the skilled style of Atlanta journalist Mark Bixler, "The Lost Boys of Sudan" weaves their story with that of other refugees and immigrants who have also settled in our country, while never trivializing their incredible plight. And although "The Lost Boys of Sudan" focuses on four young men living in Atlanta Georgia, their stories are similar to those of approximately 3800 other Lost Boys who have resettled in various cities across the US. Like those in Atlanta, they too have had to come to grips with the fascinating sights and wonders of this strange land called America, while attempting to blend within our society. For the first time in their lives they are forced to work full time jobs in order to support themselves and those they left behind, while also attending school. The task of surviving in this strange and foreign land has proven difficult at best. The results of their labors however, as chronicled by Bixler, are both amazing and truly inspiring to us all.

I edited this work for publication. It should appeal to anyone interested in real Civil War experiences. Sallie Conley Clayton came from one of the most prominent families in Georgia and she survived Atlanta at the same time and age as the fictional Scarlett O'Hara. Her account spans from pre war slave revolt scares in Kingston, Georgia; to a visit to General Bragg's headquarters during the Battle of Chattanooga; to the shelling of Atlanta; to a preposterous Yankee plantation in Montgomery, Alabama; to riots in Augusta and Athens, with many other stories in between. However, Sallie's adventures actualy happened and are told from a real human heart.

All memoirs are prejudiced and all the more so for white former slave owners. In the introduction, I have tried to balance her extraordinary account with the details of what she did not say and, in some instances, did not know. Today Sallie lies in Atlanta's Oakland Cemetery and only a few feet from the grave of GONE WITH THE WIND author Margaret Mitchell. Sallie's grave is part of the Oakland Tour.

5 out of 5 stars A Fascinating Look At War Time Atlanta.......2001-10-10

I found this work fascinating! Sallie Clayton's account was so descriptive as to make day by day life in war time Atlanta come alive. Her account of Sherman's seige was particularly engrossing. A must read along with other such biographical accounts of the period.

5 out of 5 stars Another document to the Horrors of the Lost Cause.......2001-09-18

An interesting and provocitive account of the attacks on the civilian population of Ante-bellum Georgia by Federal forces under command of William (kerosene) Sherman. This book substanciates that the "Lincoln-Sherman Plan" to make Georgia "howl" was an unpresedented reaction to propaganda and political gain. The sacking and burning of Atlanta and its long term effect on the state are sobering. Another book related to this topic that fully illustrates this unlawful and evil destruction is "The War-Time Journal of a Georgia Girl," by Eliza Francis Andrews.

The "Hounds of War" destroyed Georgia's economy well into the 20th Century.

4 out of 5 stars Caught in Atlanta.......2000-07-08

This is a wonderful story based on the true life of a young girl. The author has taken Sallie Clayton's diary and turned it into an account of life before, during, and after the Civil War.

The only problem is the long footnotes. Some of these notes take up most of the page and tell boring historical information. Sometimes, it helps set up the plot. At other times, it's annoying and makes me want to throw the book against the wall...

I say you should read this book if you want to look inside the life of a Civil War woman, or if you just want to learn more about life during the Civil War...either way, it's a wonderful book.

Liza Wieland, through multiple veiwpoints à la Faulkner's "As I lay Dying", has tapped into all the loneliness, fear, and love that can bring a community together in a time of crisis. Her prose is lyrical and dense, sometimes almost poetry, often requiring time to absorb, but what well spent time! This is a story that will stay with you, and you won't want it any other way.

                      Book Description

It is estimated that roughly five hundred people move to Atlanta Georgia per day. Many come in search of a new life; others arrive as a means of escape from the monotony of their former lives, anxiously awaiting any opportunity to recreate, and lose themselves within the vast newness that has become Atlanta Georgia. Brian, Glenn, Malik, and, Sean are four such individuals who also came to Atlanta for many of the same reasons. Their story however, is unique in that they came to Atlanta in an attempt to embrace change only to discover that in order to make a change one must first be willing to change:

Brian's constant attempts at buying love would ultimately lead him to discover that real love is priceless.

Glenn's arrogant love quest coupled with his inability to control his lustful desires is what will make him become his own worst enemy.

Malik's resentment, and contempt for the shallow nature of young black women became the reason for his treatment of them as objects, and prevented him from opening up and allowing himself to be loved.

Fate steps in just as Sean attempts to start a family and convert to living a quality life; bringing it all to an abrupt end.

This book was a GREAT BOOK. It made me laugh, cry, mad, and happy. I went on an emotional roller coaster. Ladies if you want to know why we can't find a "good man" you need to read this book and hear it from a male point of view. I clearly understand now when I hear men saying " A good woman is hard to find" I could not understand that, because I have so many single friends that are good women, but after reading this book I clearly understand!! Dean keep up the good work and I can't wait for the next book to come out.

This book was good. I was surprised.

5 out of 5 stars Waiting for more............................ from Dean McCrary.......2005-09-20

I would first like to start off by saying "Thanks" to Dean for writing this book. This book sends out a valuable message to women and men. This is one of those books that once you start to read it, it will be hard to put down. I was impressed with the message that was given off by this book. Women you learn how some of our brothers think and act, women you learn how not to be to a certain extent. God has done wonderful things with this writer and I am really looking forward to more of his work. I am wishing my blessings upon you as I know this is only going to get better. So hurry up and release the next book. God bless and keep up the good work.

                      3 out of 5 stars Bling, Bling.......2004-01-18

LOST IN ATLANTA is an interesting story that follows several young men in their search for lives' meaning and true love. Brian and Glenn are best friends with a lot of money and they share an attraction to gold digging women. Both men seem to use their money to attract women and keep them interested. They quickly learn that when dealing with that type of women it is best to keep their emotions in check because otherwise they may end up with broken hearts. Malik is a blue collar man with a very lucrative business; however, he develops a hustler type persona because he feels that despite his financial success, women will not respect him if they know his true profession. He tends to treat women as objects and keeps his heart locked away. Sean is Glennýs younger brother and has fled to Atlanta to start a new life after a series of events force him to leave his hometown. He falls in love and seems to do well until his past begins to play a game of catch up. Each of the men come to points in their lives where frivolous relationships are no longer enough to sustain them. It is at this point that each must go on a journey of self enlightenment and growth.

This book started out slowly for me. It seemed as if the author spent more time describing clothes, jewelry, and cars, and doing high end name brand endorsements than developing the plot. However, about halfway through the book the name dropping seemed to fade into the background and an intriguing plot took the forefront. From that point on, the book became more of a page turner for me. I was suddenly emotionally drawn to the characters and enraptured by the plot. The story began looking at real relationship issues that both men and women must confront in every day life. While most of the female characters in the book were portrayed as fairly weak minded and dependent, the few strong female characters were lauded for their positive traits. I was left wondering what happened to Brian, which was a little disappointing, but I was impressed by the tremendous growth and transformation that Glenn, Sean and Malik realized. Once the story gets moving, LOST IN ATLANTA is a worthwhile read that will remind readers that sometimes you have to change what you are looking for in order to find the right mate.
